-my pov-
I woke up with a sore throat and I was shaking. I walked over to my cabinet and took my morning med, got dressed and went to sickbay.
"Morning Peso!" I don't know if my voice was scratchy but my nose was stuffy.
"Morning Pluto." He paused, turning and looking at me.
"What?" I asked, sniffing.
"Are you alright?" He asked.
"Yeah just a bit of a sore throat and stuffy nose, nothing to much." Not to mention the shaking.
"Sit down on a bed, I'll give you a quick check-up." He ordered.
"I-"
"Now" he cut me off, giving me a look.
"Okay." I sighed, sitting down in defeat.
He checked my BP, eyes, ears, nose and mouth.
"Possible postnasal-drip, allergies. No fever. You look fine. It could just be a cold. Here take this." He handed me a capsule.
"But-" I tried to argue
"Take it and don't argue with me."
I took it and laid down to try and rest.
"Peso, I can work fine, please-"
"Nope, today you're the patient. No arguing."
-an hour later-
"Yeow! Morning mateys!" Kwazii burst in sickbay and saw me laying down on a med-bed. "Pluto, matey! What happened?Are you okay?? Did someone hurt you? What happ-!"
"Calm down Kwazii, I'm just a little under the weather. Although I'd be fine to work! But doctors orders to rest and I can't argue, you should see Peso strict." I interrupted
"Ah okay matey well I'll rest with ya and keep ye company!"
"Thanks Kwazii. Can I atleast go to my room Peso?"
"...Fine, Kwazii make sure she doesn't get out of bed though, unless bathroom usage." He instructed.
"Aye, okay matey!" He said, helping me to my room. My knees were shaking and so was my arm.
"Does Peso know-"
"No. But whats new? This is 24/7 and for all I care, it's my anxiety." I rolled my eyes, sighing.
"Aye, okay."
We played a few rounds of uno and talked about some stuff, soon Kwazii went down, got us dinner and brought it back to my pod.
He had a sleepover in my pod and I felt better in the morning.
