"Goodnight guys"
"Night pluto!"
I walked to my room and laid down, falling asleep.
I was in a dim lit room, looking around it seemed like my fears combined to one. The room was small, uncomfortable and had pictures of perfect people with perfect noses, teeth, eyes. Everything I was insecure about. It looked like a hospital room aswell. And some of the others were there, Kwazii, Peso, The captain, everyone I looked up to. I wanted to call out but I couldn't talk. They just sat there. Watching. As my worst fear of all started and the plot began. I could feel my body trebling and my heart rate pick up. I wanted to run. Scream. Kick. Tell the others to do something. They didn't, they just watched. Some even were the ones doing it. I waited and everything went pitch black.
I woke up, in bed, sweating and shaking. I decided to text and see if anyone else was up.
Groupchat with Kwazii and Peso
Me: hey, are either of you up?
Kwazii: I'm up, whats the matter matey?
Peso: Yes I'm with Kwazii, couldn't sleep, why?
Me: Nightmare. Can I come down?
Kwazii: Of course matey!
-Kwaziis room-
I turned the corner, careful not to trip, and entered Kwaziis room.
"Hey-?" I said
"Ahoy matey!" Said Kwazii
"Hello" greeted Peso
I sat down on a beanbag in Kwaziis room and tried to breathe, the images replaying in my head. I couldn't handle this but I didn't want to worry the others.
"Are you alright?" Asked Peso, concerned
"Huh-? Oh yeah, sorry-" I had zoned out
"No worries matey! Do you wanna talk about it?"
Kwazii always cared. Everyone always cared.
I sighed "I have to calm my breathing first," I sighed "But yes, if it's alright.."
So we breathed for a bit. And then I told them. Whole story and all. They didn't judge.
"Matey...you're perfect the way you are." Said Kwazii
"And we'd never force you into doing something you aren't comfortable with. Sure, you should visit there every year or so but we would never force you. Let alone watch you suffer through an anxiety attack and say nothing." Said Peso
"Nor be the ones doing it and just let you panic matey" Kwazii said
"Yeah," I sighed "you're right."
"Hug?" Asked Kwazii
I leaned in and hugged him, I felt Peso join in on the hug too.
"Why don't we make a fort mateys? I've got pillows!"
I laughed, taking a deep breath and smiling.
"Sure, let's!"
