-tw, medical stuff, gore, natural disaster-

"Do you blame yourself?" I hear a voice ask. I just woke up, confused.

"...what?" I ask, rubbing my eyes with the heel of my palm. I could feel a bandage wrapped on my right eye.. Soon the atmosphere became clearer (well, as clear as it can for having 20/80 vision). The lights were so vibrant.

"Well it's quite common in this situation for a patient to feel a kind of...guilt." I couldn't see him. Even if he was there, I wouldn't be able to see his face either.

What was he talking about?

"What situation?"

"The accident."

It hit me, everything came flooding back. Anxiety flared inside me. The maroon waters. My pulse rushed. The crash. My vision started blurring. Everything that happened.

The accident.

-earlier, my pov-

The others and I were on an island, cleaning up the beach and helping out creatures.

I was with Peso, giving the animals checkups or helping bandage their injuries.

"Ahoy mateys! How are you two doing?" Kwazii asked.

"Pretty good" I said, tying off a bandage.

"Yeah! Things are going well" Peso agreed

"Wanna go explore mateys?" Kwazii asked

"Aw sorry Kwaz, we gotta care for the animals here. Later though, definetly!"

"Aye, okay!"

We finished up with the last few patients and I walked over to Kwazii

"Wanna explore now?"

"Sure matey!"

Just then, the octoalert sounded.

"Octonauts to the beach!" I heard the captain say over the octoalert.

We gathered around and talked to captain.

"What's up Cap?" Tweak asked

"Well I'm afraid there's a tsunami heading our way, and fast. It's not safe to swim back to the octopod so we'll have to take cover" The captain said, worried tone as gasps echoed throughout the crew.

"Get anything you need from the gups and return to me!" He ordered. Me and Peso ran to the Gup-E, quickly stocking our medical bags with anything we could find and carrying anything we could. Bandages, hydrogen peroxide, the oxygen masks, medicine, splints, etc. Aswell as grabbing our sthescopes and a BP cuff.

"What about IV stuff??" I asked

"How would we use it?" He asked

"True" I nodded.

We ran back to the captain, bags full. He looked at us and then the rest of the crew. Everyone had what they needed from their gups, medical supplies, tools, magnifying glass, camera, etc.
