(A/n: hey y'all... it's your ghosty author just dropping in 😶🌫️. Sup lol. Your request is furfilled 💅🏾@supNuts . Not gonna lie this shit is feral 😭. Enjoy tho!)Lying on your sofa, you groggily watch the pointless commercials streaming on the television while scrolling on your phone.
It's a quarter past eleven and you've done everything you needed today. Today was spring cleaning day since it's starting to get warmer.
Everything useless and tattered was trashed unless it was meaningful. Now you have a pot of stew simmering on the stove for your lover.
He's currently away at a bachelor party with his friends and you're patiently waiting for him to come back. He always craves Kimchi jjigae after a late night out. So you went ahead and prepared it for him.
He's not one to take time off for events or parties, but for a good friend of his, he could make an exception. Besides, you threatened not to cook him anything delicious if he didn't. Even Judges have to relax now and then.
Suddenly rising, you go check on the stew. The delicious wafting scent enters your nose as you lift the lid. Taking a spoon you test the liquid, tasting for any additional seasonings to add.
You couldn't quite tell. Kyoichi is usually the taste tester.
Upon thinking of said man, you heard the keypad of your home beeping, the locks clicking loudly. The hinges of the door squeak shut, and footsteps thud your direction.
"Honey... I'm home." A gentle pair of arms firmly ensnare you, earning a warm smile out of you.
"Welcome back," you shift in his arms until you're face-to-face, placing a hand on his rosy cheek.
He leans in, tenderly kissing you for a moment before pulling away. "I missed you."
Giggling, you kiss him once more, "We've only been apart for two days. I rather enjoyed my time without you." You tease.
Taking a step forward, he backs you into the counter. "That upsets me. It'll do me well to punish you later." He flashes a carnivorous grin.
Swallowing softly, you clear your throat, "W-want some Kimchi jjigae?"
"Of course. Would you make me a bowl?"
Nodding, you separate from him and grab a bowl, ladling him a serving over some rice.
Kyoichi walks over to the cupboard of liquor, pouring a glass of whiskey. "Care to join me, dear?"
"Sure." You carry his food over to the table, sitting in the chair beside him where he now sits.
You prop your head up on one of your hands, taking hold of the frosted glass. "Did you have fun?"
"Yes. It was a splendid time. You wouldn't believe how obsessed Q is with his bride. He practically worships her." He spoons a mouthful of lava into his mouth.
"That's good. I can't believe he's actually getting married. Who could imagine." You take a sip of the warm liquor.
"Right. He was always a moneyless, beggar. Yet somehow he's become a distinguished gentleman who owns a bakery and is soon to have children."
"Children? Q is?"
Kyoichi nods, "That's right. I was a little shocked myself to find out she's four months along with twins."
"Twins!? Seriously!"
"Yes. It's astonishing– to say the least, huh?" He chuckles at your reaction.
"Very." Your raised brows relax as you take another drink.
