Lying in bed you stare at the ceiling fan in boredom. You had just sent a text to your boyfriend Daewi. But he didn't answer.

Like usual...

Ever since he entered the God of Highschool Tournament he's been hard to get a hold of. You have barely seen him for three months. It's starting to take a toll on your relationship.

Even a guy at school keeps saying your wasting time with Han Daewi. The boy insists you break up with him and give someone else a shot at you.

However, you just couldn't bring yourself to do it. Daewi saved you too many times for you to betray him. You wouldn't dare.

There was the time some girls were picking on you for feeding stray animals and picking up trash to when you see someone drop something. He literally knocked the shit out of them. (A/n: like poor Mira. He fucked her up lol)

Besides, it's not like he's been totally absent. At the end of the night, he calls to tell you how much he wanted to hear your voice all day and how he misses cuddling and watching tv together.

You loved him but had yet to say it. The plan is to tell him when he comes back. Somehow though, he always gives a rough estimation of when he'll be back but it always gets pushed further away.

You're starting to run out of patience. You live for affection and now you're starved. What are you going to do with yourself?

Getting out of bed you head out of your room to get the popcorn you forgot you put in the microwave. To keep you sane without him, you still watched My Cat From Hell.

Before the tournament, Daewi would come over every week and watch a new episode with you. He always found it fascinating how that guy turns demon cats into angels. You just think the cats are cute and funny.

You were in the middle of pouring the popcorn in a bowl when you heard your phone ring. Seeing what time it is you rush to your room, heart racing from the name on the caller I.d.

Hello. Did I wake you up, (F/n)?

"Not at all. I was actually waiting for you." You admit. His husky laugh fills your ear, putting a smile on your face.

"What are you doing right now?"

"Nothing. Just watching our show and gonna eat popcorn."

"Ha. You're so faithful to the things you like. Nothing changes about you."

"Daewi when are you coming home? I...miss you..."

"Pretty soon, actually."

Eyes lighting up you can almost feel yourself sprout a tail and dog ears. Was he being serious right now?

"Really?! When? I'll cook something delicious for you and we can watch the newer episodes of our favorite show."

"You're still waiting on me? I told you to go ahead and watch it."

Twirling hair around your finger, "It's more fun watching it with you."

"You are adorable, (F/n). Open the door so I can hug you."
