The sleepover (part 2)

Naruto's POV

The next day I woke up to the sun shining through Ino's window and I looked around the room for a minute because I'd forgotten where I was but then I saw Ino and remembered we were all sleeping over at her place for the weekend I looked down to see Hinata was in the same position she was in when she first fell asleep last night then her eyes fluttered open and I fell in love with her all over again "mmmm good morning Naruto-kun how did you sleep?" She said sleepily as I kissed her forehead "I slept better than I do at home I think that's because you were in my arms
I love you Hinata" she smiled and blushed at what I said you know she still does that now even though we've been married for years and have two kids but I love her nonetheless

After about an hour everyone was awake and talking so me and Hinata pulled Ino aside to talk "ok you two what's up what do you wanna talk about?" She asked still sounding kinda tired "so I guess you know that Temari likes Shikamaru and you were talking to him alot last night so tell us does he like her too?" I asked curiously "OMG really aww that's great he couldn't stop gushing about how amazing she was last night you know what we have to do right?" She asked me "well duh we gotta set them up together the only question is how do we do that hey Hinata any ideas on how we can set those two up together?" I asked calmly knowing she was still a little tired "hmmm not right now but just make sure they spend alot of time together while we think of a proper plan ok Ino?" She said confidently "good idea Hinata and maybe while we're thinking of a plan and they're spending time together maybe they'll do our work for ys and get together without our help but we should still think of a real plan just in case one of them is as stupid as Naruto" I heard what she said about me "IM NOT DUMB INO" I said probably sounding more pissed off than I was "it's ok baby she didn't mean it just forget it ok I understand that you don't understand when people are joking or not but trust me she's just kidding" she said so kindly she always was good at helping me understand stuff like this mostly because growing up I didn't have any friends I don't know why though so I never developed a proper understanding of social situations

"Ok so shikamaru and Temari are talking right now and their being kinda flirty she laughs at everything he says and he's always complimenting her" she said whispering to us so no one could hear "she really does like him then she's only like this with people she cares about alot so yeah she's falling pretty hard for him Hinata do you have a plan yet?" I asked quietly so we weren't heard "yes I do what if we tell Shikamaru Temari wants him to stay with her in a guest room tonight and vice versa with Temari then if they're alone all night they are bound to figure it out and if they don't figure it out by the time we leave then we tell them the truth ourselves agreed?"she said confidently but still quiet enough so only Ino and I heard her "agreed" Ino whispered "that's brilliant baby your incredible I love you and agreed" she blushed at what I said and kissed my cheek then we set our plan in action "hey Shikamaru Temari said she wanted you to stay in a guest room with her tonight she asked us to tell you because she was too nervous" his face lit up when we told him "are you serious yes I'll do whatever she wants" he said excitedly which surprised us we had no idea that he could speak in a different tone of voice to his usual lazy tone then we told him we'd tell her he said yes so then we went over to Temari "hey Temari Shikamaru wants you to stay in a guest room with him tonight he asked us to tell you because he was too nervous" her reaction mirrored Shikamaru's exactly she was so excited Ino told them both which room they were staying in tonight and we went about the rest of our day we started watching the rest of the movies we started the previous day (we got halfway through the fourth movie) but again after a while we got bored and decided to do something else so we decided to just sit around and tell stories "hey Naruto do you mind telling us about your parents you don't have to if you don't want to but I'd really love to know more about them if that's ok with you" asked choji and Sakura I just nodded because talking about them helped me remember them

"so my mom her name was Kushina and my dad's name was Minato and he was lord fourth and my mom was the nine tails jinchuriki before me but that didn't stop them from being my favourite people in the world after we moved to Tokyo dad started his own business he called it 'Namikaze corp' the company made repaired restored and sold classic cars to people all over the world so I've seen a few celebrities at my dad's office sometimes but he didn't let his success go to his head he was a great father he taught me to ride a bike he taught me to swim how to shave how to fight how to drive and he also helped me with my homework every night but my mom wow she was amazing she was beautiful kind caring sympathetic to anyone who needed it loyal plus she taught me to cook and how to sew and how to knit and yes I can sew and knit so what she also taught me to read and write but she also trained me to control Kurama and how to manage my anger so he never took over my body and went on a rampage again she also taught me how to love someone unconditionally no matter what I'll miss my parents every day for the rest of my life but I'll never forget them ever" I said enthusiastically like I always sounded when talking about my parents

"What about your godparents?" Asked Shikamaru "umm well my godparents and I have always been close since I was born me and Jiraiya rebuilt his old mustang while I stayed with him and Tsunade is just like my mom just with blonde hair and I'll love them forever to thank them for what they did for me they pulled me from the darkness after my parents died and then I met Hinata who makes me happy every day just by being here" I answered honestly because that's honestly what I felt like when I was asked those questions

"Wow Naruto you've had a rough
7 months haven't you" said Temari but then it hit me they had been gone 7 months and I felt happy here I had great friends an amazing family and I was in love with a beautiful girl who for some reason loved me back and I couldn't have asked for a better second family I really couldn't

"Ok Shikamaru tell us something" I said then whispered to Hinata "I'm going to get him to admit to everyone that he likes Temari" she smiled then whispered back "good thinking Naruto-kun now let's see if this works" Shikamaru then spoke "what do you wanna Know Naruto?" He asked in his 'standard' tone of voice
"I wanna know if it's true that you have a crush on Temari and trust me if you lie Kurama will know" I said knowing full well that Kurama couldn't read minds or something I just wanted to make him think he could "fine I may aswell tell you since you'll probably find out anyway yes I like her alot but she doesn't......" he was cut off by Temari kissing him she must've heard what he said "shut up you idiot of course I like you I mean your handsome your a genius you can make me laugh and I feel like Hinata does when she's with Naruto when I'm with you Shikamaru" she said while looking at him lovingly we all stayed together in that position for most of the day just lauging and talking until eventually we all got hungry

"Anyone wanna go out to eat?" I asked everyone they all responded with "sure!" Abd we left Ino's house and went to Ichiraku's we all ordered our food we ate and left and now we were back at Ino's house and we decided to just talk like we were doing earlier "so anyway once my dad forgot my mom's birthday so he went on a mad dash around town trying to find her a gift but as he was walking out of the store he had bought her gift from he bumped into my mom and me we were just running some errands when it happened she asked him why he was there and he told her then she hugged him and said it was ok but when we got home she hit him with a frying pan like she always did when she was angry" I said responding to Shikamaru asking me to tell a funny story about my parents and after I finished all my friends burst out laughing so hard choji and Temari actually fell off the couch because they were laughing so hard

I turned to Hinata "my mom would've loved you Hinata because your just like her you love me unconditionally you take care of me and you scold me when I deserve it your also fiercely loyal and fiercely intelligent and I couldn't ask for anyone better I love you Hinata" I said lovingly as I kissed her gently "I love you too Naruto-kun" she said sweetly and softly 'I'm going to marry this woman' I thought to myself after that we kept on talking for about an hour then we all got tired
Temari & Shikamaru went to the guest room for the night so they could be alone and everyone else got settled into their sleeping bags I looked at Hinata sleeping beside me 'I should ask Jiraiya & Tsunade if Hinata can move into my room because I like waking up next to her and I don't wanna stop waking up next to her until I die' I thought to myself as my eyelids got heavy and I fell asleep
