Naruto's POV

I sat down worried because I felt like there was something I wasn't being told had my father done something bad in the past and Hinata's dad respected him out of fear or something or was it because of Kurama because when the bodyguard found out about Kurama he bowed down to me and begged for forgiveness had my dad and Kurama done something to make people respect them or was it out of fear ? Hmmmm

"Naruto honey did you ever hear the story of how lord fourth vanished from Konoha never to be seen again?" Tsunade said gently I presume to let me process what she was saying "yeah he was protecting the village one day but then he vanished and no one saw him again" I said cautiously and confused what did the fourth hokage have to do with my dad

"Buddy your father was the fourth hokage he left the village so you his son and the new jinchuriki of the
nine tails could have a peaceful normal life where there was no risk of Kurama losing control and rampaging again like he did the night you were born which is when you became the nine tails third jinchuriki he left with you and your mother to protect you he moved to Tokyo he and your mom got married he took your mom's name so no one could find him and he hoped his past would never catch up with him luckily it didn't but unfortunately he died before he could train you to control it I'm sorry we never told you Naruto but your parents made us swear not to say anything I'm sorry you had to find out like this" Jiraiya said bowing his head

At first honestly I was shocked that my parents had a whole different life and they gave it up to keep me safe at first I was mad that no one told me but then a huge smile crept onto my face "are you serious my dad the most normal guy ever was the legendary fourth hokage the yellow flash of the hidden leaf?" I asked excitedly hoping for more stories or at least one cool one "wait your not upset?" Tsunade said confused "are you kidding me my dad and my greatest hero and inspiration are the same guy I have pictures of my dad's hokage cloak on my wall and all along the real thing was probably just stuffed in the back of his closet" I said not being able to believe that my dad was really the fourth hokage my hero "sorry I never told you kid but Minato made me swear not to say anything about his past life to you he just made me promise to keep you safe that's why you survived the crash because of my chakra flowing through you like your own personal healing ointment" he said quietly he almost sounded sorry or guilty "it's ok Kurama you were just protecting me and thanks for saving me old friend I just wish you could've saved my parents too" I said with a low sad tone then Tsunade hugged me "I'm sure he would've saved them if he could've sweetheart but remember you'll always have me and Jiraiya" she said lovingly "yeah buddy we'll be here whenever you need us no matter what" he said with a smile on his face then Hinata kissed my cheek "and you have me too Naruto-kun no matter what my father says about you baby I'm with you 100% of the time" she said confidently and lovingly

For the first time since my parents died I felt whole again and I had my family back I was so happy "come on Hinata let's get what little stuff marcus brought for you put into your room" Tsunade said gently and in a motherly tone which I thought was sweet of her to do it seemed to put Hinata at ease because she had a soft smile and a soft pink glow to her cheeks for about two more hours

After a little while we had all of Hinata's stuff moved into the guest room which was now her room it wasn't much though just her clothes some bed sheets a couple pictures of her and her sister and her mom and a small stuffed bear which she said her mother gave her for her first Christmas "Naruto and I will get the rest of your stuff after school tomorrow ok now it's about time for dinner so let's go make something" said Jiraiya and as he did his stomach growled "see even my stomach agrees it's time to eat" we all laughed at what he said and he had a goofy grin on his face

"Please allow me to cook tonight as a thankyou for taking me in" Hinata said softly "no Hinata your our guest I'll cook tonight" Tsunade said but Hinata wouldn't take no for an answer she's still persistent to this day and that's one of the numerous things I love about her after about five minutes Tsunade finally gave in and let Hinata cook for us and let me tell you after that meal she never argued when Hinata offered to cook again
