A n d r e a

After my morning with Alex yesterday the whole day kind of just passed by. Not much happened. We watched some movies and Alex went over the rules for when we're at the ball. Which I didn't listen to. And considering Alex divorcing the Isabella girl he doesn't seem fazed at all, so I guess he and Rachel were telling the truth about wanting nothing to do with her, but that doesn't change anything. I'm in the bathroom closet to Alex's room again, secretly hoping for a repeat of yesterday, but also getting dressed for the ball so it's unlikely that the repeat will happen. I'm wearing a burgundy red silk satin sweetheart mini dress with black stiletto red bottom heels. I'm in the process of putting on my makeup when a shirtless Alex walks in. I watch him look at me up and and down through the mirror causing me to smile.

"Do I look good?" I ask putting my makeup brush down and turning to face Alex.

"Every time you ask me that I say you look amazing." He says running his hand through his hair.

"And what about this time?" I shrug and he laughs walking towards me and taking one last look.

"You look breathtaking." He says and I nod.

"Thank you." I say turning back around to finish my makeup and he hugs me from behind burying his head between my neck and shoulder and I laugh.

"What wrong with you?" I ask putting on the final touches.

"We should stay home." He says picking his head up.

"Why?" I question raising my eyebrow.

"Because, I want to stay home with you and I can just send everyone else to the ball." He says.

"No we're going." I say pushing his arms off my waist and leaving the bathroom and he groans.

"You'll be fine! It's only for a few hours." I yell from the hall. I go in my room to put my makeup bags in my suitcase and clean up my room a bit before we go. Since I'm done getting ready I go downstairs to get some water and wait for the others. Leslie comes down first in a long black v neck spaghetti strap dress with gold rhinestone open toe heels and my jaw drops.

"Wow, you really went all out." I yell and she smiles. Rachel comes in behind Leslie with a mid length white satin dress with spaghetti straps and of course white heels as well. We all go crazy over each-others outfits before it's finally time to go. A limo picks us up outside of the house and we make our way to the ball. Alex when over the rules again and this time I finally listened, Kinda. I heard the important stuff like: no weapons, don't cause drama, and don't stare at someone for too long, you know the basics, but of course one of them I didn't listen to. I have a pocket knife in a holster strapped to my leg. A girls gotta stay prepared, you never know. After about 45 minutes of driving we make it to a mansion. No, maybe it's a castle. We get out the car and Alex signs a few papers before we can walk in.  When we walk in it's like the ballrooms you see in every princess movie and everyone is showing off their wealth with expensive suits, fancy dresses, and even fancier accessories.  Alex leads us to a table in the back where we all sit and talk for a while before we go our separate ways. Leslie goes with Jax, then Rachel disappears, so I go with Alex as he talks with his friends. They mostly talk about business, income, and the people they kill I'm dying of boredom. I tug on Alex's arm to get his attention.

"I want to go dance." I whisper to him glancing at the guy he was talking to, I've noticed throughout their entire conversation when Alex wasn't paying attention he would stare at me.

"Not now princess I'm talking, one second." I nod and wait about 30 seconds before asking him again. He laughs and excuses himself from the conversation as we walk to the dance floor. He grabs one of my hands and places the other on my waist. I stand there confused because I've never slow danced before.

"Where do I put my hands?" I ask and he places them on his shoulders.

"I don't know the steps." I say laughing causing him the smile.

"Then why did you ask to dance?" He questions.

"Because I was bored of you and your friends conversation and I wanted all of your attention." I say and he nods.

"If you said you wanted my attention I would've stopped the conversation immediately princess. You have to tell me exactly what you want and you'll get it." He says and I raise an eyebrow.

"So if I ask you to give Rachel one of your cars you'll say yes?" I ask and he laughs.

"She told you to say that didn't she?" He laughs.

"Maybe, but can you please? She really wants one." I say and he nods.

"Okay, and one more thing." I say.

"What else do you want princess?" He asks looking in to my eyes and I almost melt.

"I want a kiss." I say smiling and he gives me one. It was passionate and slow, but perfect. When he breaks the kiss I feel the heat rushing up to my cheeks, so I laugh and hide my head between his head and shoulder.

"What?" He questions.

"Was my kiss bad?" He questions and I shake my head No while laughing and he smile's.

"Okay, I'm gonna teach you the steps now." He says and I nod. He shows me the steps slowly and I catch on quickly. About 5 minutes later I'm basically a pro at slow dancing. Alex and I start dancing to the music in a comfortable silence. I glance behind him and see the person he was talking to earlier. Once he realizes I see him he winks at me with a smirk on his face. What the fuck? I focus my attention back on Alex with a grimace on my face and a unsettling feeling in my stomach.

"You okay princess?" Alex asks noticing the look on my face.

"Yes I'm fine sorry." I say putting a smile back on my face.

"You don't have to be sorry princess, are you sure your okay?" He asks again.

"Yes I'm fine, my stomach just hurts a bit." I say.

"Do you want to go home now?" He asks and I shake my head no. You may be wondering. Why wont you just tell him about his creepy friend? I don't want to start and unnecessary drama. Technically his friend hasn't really done anything except stare and wink at me, so technically he's done nothing big enough for me to report so I'll just leave it alone for now.
