A SMILE curved on Sereine's lips the moment her right hand touch the trunk of elm tree that is boldly owning a wide area of the forest. Its yellow green leaves that is turning darker as it mature hovered over the land, covering most of its ground. Making the sun's glow nowhere to be found.

"Sereine! Red alert! Everyone is already in the meeting place!" Sa narinig ay agad na napahiwalay ang naturang dalagita sa puno para harapin ang kararating lang na kaibigan. Sereine rolled her eyes at Awyn who even had the guts to smile at her. "Come on. I don't have time to let you ponder at me. Mapaparusahan tayo kapag nalaman nilang tumakas na naman tayo para makipaglampungan sa mga puno," the girl even added with a chuckle.

In the end, Sereine sighed and stared back at the tree sadly. Sumama siya sa kaibigan na ingat na ingat pa habang naglalakad pabalik. She knows why Awyn acts like that. It's because they are outside the Seranova Forest for the ninth time. Ang kinanalagyan nilang gubat ay ang gubat sa labas na ng teritoryo ng mga diwata o nimpa. It was funny how Sereine felt like she was being caged inside their place when she was going, still, to a place where tresses and plants are being favored by the sun. Ngunit para rin naman sa kaniya ay ibang mundo ang napupuntahan niya kapag nasa labas siya ng Seranova kahit tila pareho lang naman ang nakikita niya sa paligid. Still, she knows that there is a part of the continent that is different from where she lives. And her dream as a young nymph is to travel those places and explore it like she is free from everything.

Isang malabo nga lang iyong pangarap dahil ipinagbabawal ang pagpunta sa ibang nayon. Isa iyong kasalanan at pagtataksil sa sarili nilang kalahi.

"Sereine, ano ba?! Hurry up! Magtataka na sila kapag hindi tayo nakabalik agad. Ang sabi ko pa naman ay nasa inyo ka lang. Lagot tayo lalo kapag nalaman nilang nagsinungaling ako! I am super doomed!" Her agitated friend held her in the hand to pull her. Napabilis tuloy ng wala sa oras ang paghakbang niya hanggang sa naging takbo iyon nang tumakbo na rin si Awyn habang hila-hila siya.

Sereine's laugh bombarded the whole forest as she tried to keep up with her friend. She's thankful that Awyn was with her. Kahit kasi sabay silang tumakas ay iniwan din siya nito kanina para bumalik sa lawa at alamin kung ano nang nangyayari roon. Kaya ngayong bumalik ito sa kaniya para lang hindi siya mapahamak ay nakagagaan ng sobra sa dibdib. Her friend is a reliable one.

However, in the middle of their escapade, a sudden explosion resounded as the land shook in a fast pace. Sa gulat ng dalawang magkaibigan ay agad silang napahinto sa pagtakbo at naging alerto sa buong paligid.

Ngunit hindi pa rin nila inaasahan ang bumungad sa kanila. A black mythical creature having two-legged winged resembling a dragon. The wyvern was walking dangerously towards where they are and both can totally feel its dark aura embracing the whole scène.

"Sereine..." Awyn's terrefied voice called unto her. Nilingon nito ang kaibigan na ngayon ay matapang na nakatingin sa dragon na tila handa na silang lamunin ng buo.

"You should run away and call out for help. Hindi natin kakayaning dalawa ang dragon---"

"But..." Awyn's voice trailed off when Sereine glared at her. "No buts. Now go."

Awyn looks troubled but Sereine just held her hand tightly before letting it go.

"Please take care, alright? Babalik ako agad. Pangako. Please don't die." Sereine smiled assuredly at Awyn. "I won't. I promise," she added.
