It had been a week since they were dating. Both of them were very happy.
That day Hardik joined the team. He was in hallway when he collided with Ananya walking by.
"Hello! You must be Ananya?" Hardik asked stopping her
"Yes and you must be Hardik?"
"Yes. I have seen you somewhere else. I mean before I can't recollect where?" Said Hardik thinking.
"Really where?"
"That's what I am thinking! Ummm were you at SV College by any chance?"
"Oh yes! I was! Oh shit yess now I remember. Yes I remember seeing you sometimes. You were the commet that Gargi ma'am used to call!"
"Yes right! She used to call me that??"
"Yes because you used to come very rarely"
"Whooaaa maybe I can't remember itna"
"Achaa cool"
"Also are you in contact with anyone from our college?
"Just my friends as of now! We just graduated na. We just gave our finals remember?"
"Oh yeah I remember!"
Mahi just comes out from his room Hardik sees Mahi and jumps on him shouting "Mahi Bhaiiiiiii"
"Yes kiddo!"
"Nothing I am just happy to meet you finally!"
"Me too kiddo! Now go to your room and freshen up."
"Hey Ana"
"Hello Mahi"
They quickly hugged each other before anyone could notice
"You know Hardik?"
"Yes sort of! He was in the same college as mine for bachelors. But he never attended much!"
"Oh nice!"
"Yes"
Mahi noticed Virat coming in their direction. To cover up he asked
"What do you plan to ahead?"
"Umm.. I am planning to do masters in Journalism and Mass communication."
"That's a good field though!"
"Yess!"
"And you have done your bachelors in?"
"History"
"Amazing then why... Hey Cheeku!"
"Hello Mahi Bhai!"
"You forgot me" said Ananya annoyed
"Hello. You are still here? Aren't you late? She must be waiting."
"Yes but I met Hardik, turned out he was in the same college as mine!"
"And you didn't know all this time?"
"No! He never came to college much. I just saw him 2-3 times. A prof used to call him commet." Virat laughed at this.
"You two seem to be have had connected!"
"Haha little bit I was just asking her what she planned to do agey!"
"Yeah!"
"Ana now leave! Don't keep your poor friend waiting!"
"It's ok I just met her recently na! Last week maybe. And she keeps me waiting half the time it's ok of she waits one time"
"Huh? Poor friend go now"
"Goingggg" and she left
"This girl!" And he face palmed.
2 days later Virat was surfing through the net when he came across a picture of Mahi with a girl, but he couldn't see her face. "Who is this woman? Why didn't Mahi Bhai tell me about it? Her outfit looks familiar" Virat thought. He decided to ask Mahi about it.
He went to MS's room, where he was resting.
"Mahi Bhai!!!"
"Yes Cheeku?"
"Am I not close to you?" Asked Virat a bit offended.
"Of course you are Cheeks"
"No you don't love me anymore!!"
"Who told you this? I love you bacha"
"I know that! That's why you didn't tell me that you went on a date with a girl"
Mahi stiffened for a while.
"I did not go on a date kiddo"
"Then who is this woman?" Asked Virat showing him the picture.
"She is just my friend from school who was in town." He got worried if he actually found out about him and Ananya.
"Really?"
"Yes Kiddo"
"Ok if you say so" he was still not convinced. He felt that he was still hiding something from him.
Here Mahi texted Ana about Virat being suspicious. He told her about the picture he showed him.
Ana was getting anxious about it. What if he finds out??
She texted Ro to meet her immediately!
He reached the cafe they decided.
"Hey Ananya! What happened? Why are you so worried??"
"Mahi was saying that Virat bhaiya showed him a picture of him with a girl from the day we went on a date. He feels he is getting suspicious even after mahi told him that she was his friend."
"Shit! What now? Actually you tell him before it's too late. It would be bad if he finds out from someone else."
"Yes. That's true. But he is going to be angry that we hid from him all these days plus Mahi told him that she was his friend from school."
"He is but it's better he finds out from you."
"Yeah I will talk to him."
But in mind she was getting really scared!
Virat goes to the same hotel, where the photo was taken. He enquired the manager with whom did Mahi come that day.
Manager had taken some photos that day for himself.
He showed him thier pictures. Virat was shocked to see with whom Mahi had come. He couldn't believe his eyes.
"Are you sure they came together??"
"Yes sir I am sure. They were sitting at that table" pointing towards it.
"Mahi Bhai lied to my face. My baby is hiding something from me!! She never met Tanu??" Thought Virat disappointed hurt. "No my baby can't hide something from me."
"What were they doing here?" Virat asked manager
"I am not sure but I believe from my sources here MS proposed her and same was being conveyed from there actions."
Virat's hurt converted to anger. He went to hotel fuming in anger.
