A week later of the engagement.
Mahi's parents came to Pune to meet Ananya and her family.
They decided to meet at Ro's house.
(Virat and Ananya's parents passed away in car accident so Ro's parents looked after them)
Ananya was nervous for meeting them. She wondered if they would like her, accept her.
Mahi couldn't come at that time as he had some important work to complete and a meeting.
They arrived.
"Namaste!" Greeted Ro's parents as they welcomed them to the house.
They settled themselves on the couch.
Virat and Ananya came outside and touched their feet.
"Hello Aunty hello Uncle! How are you?" Asked Ananya
"Hello beta! We are fine" his parents said.
They had tea and snacks and discussed about marriage dates.
"She is a sweet girl! We like her, and we would love to have a daughter like her." His mother said.
"Mahi just adored this girl, he is so happy, he used to praise about her so much. He loves her and he is happy and so are we" his father said.
Ananya smiled at that not able to say anything.
"Thank you uncle, she loves alot. Mahi is perfect for my sister. I trust him alot."
They chatted for a while.
July 4 was the date decided for their marriage, which was next month.
Mahi came by dinner time.
Ananya hugged him, and he reciprocated.
Everyone teased them making them blush and shy.
"Stop it all of you!" They both said in unison.
"See they even talk in unison." Ro teased.
"Shut up Ro"
This session continued for a while.
That's when, Ritika and Anushka Sharma entered.
(They were dating already)
Virat and Rohit's eyes lit up. They went and hugged them.
Ananya cleared her throat to gain their attention who were lost in each other. They looked at them embarrassed. Others burst into laughter.
They had their dinner in peace.
Ananya and Mahi went out for a walk.
"Finally we are getting married!" Mahi said.
"Yes, finally. Still can't believe it's happening!"
"I know. I am so happy Ana I can't tell"
"Me too Mahi."
They walked and chatted for a while, and went back home.
It was such a peaceful and calm aura around his parents, Ananya felt better and less nervous around them.
It was a cheerful, happy fun-filled evening.
Virat hugged Ananya!
"You happy baccha?"
"Yes bhaiya!"
Virat kissed her forehead!
And he tucked her in bed and ran an affectionate hand on her hair.
She kept her head on his lap and closed her eyes. Once she fell asleep Virat shifted her head on pillow.
And laid beside her.
