My entire body had gone completely numb, the world becoming a blur. In two short seconds, my aunt's life had been thrown away like trash.
I felt myself being pulled to my feet and looking at Adeline's face, her green eyes pools of pity. But I didn't want it. The girl I thought I loved had just killed the person who'd raised me and my only sister since basically birth,
Saturn's screams as she was grabbed were muffled in my ears, and I knew she was putting up quite a fight.
I don't remember much of what happened next, but there was a ship and some sort of transportation device; next thing I knew, I was in a cell.
I wanted to cry. To scream. To do anything! But I couldn't. What the hell was wrong with me?
I was beginning to understand why Kiza had never told Saturn and I of whatever this was, after all, she seemed to know what she was doing back there. Then again, if she had told us we'd never even tried to mess with the things we'd found. Now, because she'd kept everything from us, we were in who-knows-what flying who-knows-where. And we were alone. No, I was alone here in this cell. Where was my sister, now my only family left? If she was near, I'd hear her.
The realization that I had no idea what was happening to Saturn woke me up from my trans-like state.
The cell was odd, a large cylinder shape with iron bars twisted strangely elegant across the top.
I jumped up, grabbing onto the iron and yanking. When nothing budged, I flipped my legs up and dug my heels into it. Nothing.
I dropped back down and sighed as I glared up, his only wish at the moment was that his sister was okay.
****
Bang. Blast. Boom.
This was the sound I knew well, had leaned to know well long ago. It was no more than a mere racket in front of us.
Tidus was becoming reckless, his forces pushing on without the needs to do it. Foolish off him.
We'd fought ship-to-ship for hours, and we'd finally gotten to the real combat.
With my gun in one hand and my metal pipe in the other, I was in the lead.
"Your Majesty!"
I ignored the yowl in my ear, there was only one person aloud to call me that.
"Your Majesty, it's an emergency!"
I yanked my gun back and bolted down behind the wall,
"What, Diomika?!" I yelled.
"We've received a signal from Earth."
"Earth?"
Earth. The planet nobody knew I owned. However, it was under my protection and Tidus couldn't touch it.
"What kind of-"
BANG.
The room shook as a cannon was fired.
"Your Majesty!"
"Diomika, this must wait!"
"Jupiter, Tidus may have your children!"
