Volume 1 Chapter 8

( Kushida's little secret got out in front of everyone and surprisingly it was Chabashira who exposed her. After seeing that the entire class knows her secret, she angrily went up to Ayanokouji and grabbed his collar for an unknown reason. Having enough of her Chabashira called the security and told them to take Kushida to the School Administration while Kiyotaka asked Horikita about Kushida, to be precise he asked her whether she knew Kushida before coming to this school! Horikita denied his claim, Kiyotaka got angry at her response and smashed his hand on the podium as hard as he could scaring the shit out of everyone in the class. At this Chabashira didn't say anything because of a certain deal she made with Kiyotaka.)

HORIKITA's pov

" Rather than denying it every time, why can't you just open up your goddamn mouth and say the truth."

Ayanokouji said coldly as his voice sent shivers down my spine and he glared at me with such murderous intent.

Till now I've always thought of him as a guy who's too lazy to do anything and doesn't care for others because he would always avoid situations where he has to contribute to the class. He used to say that it's too troublesome to do something like that.

I took him for granted and boy was I wrong! This guy whom I thought was lazy and unreasonable figured out that there was something wrong between me and Kushida.

Within seconds he left me in no position to say anything except the verity.

' Guess, I only have one option left '.
I thought as I regained my composure and switched my shocked expression back to a stern one.

I locked my eyes with his and I could discern that everyone in the class was waiting for my response. All of them had their faces latched on me.

They were looking at me as if I was an arbitrator and I was about to give out my final verdict.

I inhaled and exhaled a couple of times again just to make sure that I don't mess up.

" Alright... If you want the truth then I will say it. The only reason I was hesitant to say this was because it might be a little disturbing for some of you."

" You don't need to worry about that, I am sure that everyone here is prepared for it and I believe that it wouldn't be that shocking after what they have just witnessed right now."
Chabashira sensei assured me.

" Okay then, first of all, I would like to apologise to everyone here because of what I did earlier and as for your question Ayanokouji... I was neither a friend nor an adversary of Kushida. It was just that she and I used to go to the same middle school. We were not in the same class. Anyway, I never called her out or had the intention of hanging out with her so I just ignored her from the start because I didn't like her overcaring nature. She had many friends from other classes as well and she wanted to gain more, so one day she approached me saying she wants to be my friend. I rejected her but she didn't stop there. She started to find ways to befriend me, even after rejecting her so many times, she kept bugging me for the rest of the year but all things changed when Kushida gained abrupt popularity in the school within 3 months during the 2 year. The reason which I think she gained this sudden popularity was because of her nature made I'm sure made her quite popular with both boys and girls and her nature was the only thing that helped her gain all the popularity in this school as well. Everything was going fine until came the 3rd Year. I overheard someone saying that there is a person who is posting some sort of secret about other students on the internet.
I just shrugged it off because this didn't concern me but only a few days after that. I heard that Kushida's class had completely fallen apart and it was all because of her..."
