Summary of Volume 2 Chapter 2:

∆ Kiyotaka upon entering the classroom engaged in a small talk with his neighbour which ended in him shutting her down.

∆ Suzune finally admitted that Kiyotaka is better than her. She also stated that Manabu holds Kiyotaka in high regard.

∆ Chabashira comes into the classroom as usual and announces that some students from Class C filed complaints against 2 Class D students, Kei Karuizawa and Ken Sudō.

∆ Kiyotaka upon hearing this suspect that Ryueen has begun making the moves decides to respond to him in his own way.

∆ Chabashira states that for both the cases, a certain meeting will be held at the Student Council on the 7th and 8th of June respectively.

∆ Chabashira then reveals the Class standings and was happy with the results they brought out but she contended that Class D has to work a lot harder than what they are doing now in order to reach Class A.

~ Class Standings ( According to Class Points )

• Class A - 933 CP
• Class B - 682 CP
• Class C - 539 CP
• Class D - 210 CP

∆ Other classes were also surprised by Class D's sudden come back and decided to take Class D a little seriously.

" Just what did you do this time?"

Chabashira asked me while taking out a cigar and a lighter.

" I did not do anything this time, this is a clear attack from Class C's side and besides there's no gain for me in fact, if Sudō and that blonde bitch get expelled, then Class D will surely suffer some major Class point loss like you earlier."

It was 2:00 pm currently, the school just ended a few moments and before I could go, I got called out by Chabashira saying she wanted to discuss something with me. When I got out of the classroom, she said that we should discuss this on the rooftop or somewhere isolated and before I knew it we were on the rooftop.

Chabashira sighed when she heard my assertion.

" How can I believe that you are not the one pulling the strings from behind? Give me a strong reason why I should believe you."

" It's simple really... Because we share the same goal. You want to reach Class A and so do I. Do you remember, I gave Kanzaki a recording of mine saying that Class D will become Class A by the end of this year or earlier and you know how Kanzaki is... He might actually use the recording and expel me with that if I dont make Class D rise onto the top..."

" Hold on, I acknowledge the fact that you also want to reach Class A and I have to say that you also put some effort this time but still I will not withstand any of your underhanded methods anymore. Don't you care even a little bit about others?..."

" Well, how about this then..."

" Huh "

" I promise to not use underhanded methods unless it becomes extremely crucial to the point where I am left with no other choice but in return, you have to do as I say from now on... In short, become my pawn."

" That is just ridiculous..."

" Then forget that I ever mentioned it "

It's that simple... Take it or leave it. Once she becomes my pawn, I'll indirectly have certain control over Class D and her becoming my pawn would be extremely beneficial for me because of the influence she holds. It'll make my work much easier than before.
