Chapter 34

Marcello's POV

Here I am again, being a total creep. Looking at her sleeping again. But can you stop me...no.

"Your looking like a creep Marcello" Vex types on his phone and pulls Rose closer to his side. Making her turn to the side and cuddle into Vex's chest. Asshole.

"Doesn't matter. I love her." I begin to trail my fingers down the back of her spine. Such soft skin.

"Dammit, read mom's message yet?"

Her skin is perfect and her straight hair... pulling that hair and having her neck exposed, just so I can leave my love marks all over her. Those chocolate eyes rolling back and shutting... "HEY!" Vex whisper yells, trying his hardest to not wake Rose up.

"Whhhaatttt," I say annoyed that he brought me away from my daydream.

He shoves his phone in front of my face making me read the message from... mom?

The only time she messages us personally is when there is a holiday, or if she wants a new pair of shoes from Rose... it's not our birthday, Rose hasn't came out with new shoes...

Fucking. Family. Dinner.

I have not seen you two in a month. How dare you not keep in contact with your mother. There better be a good reason for not contacting me! If there is a girl, I expect you guys to be home for dinner tonight. At 7. No exceptions! And tell Marcello to answer my text, Vex. I love you.

I glance up at Vex and we both stare down at our sleepy girl.

"It's already five, we should ask if she's okay with going," Vex asks.

I nod my head. When we tell mom she's our girlfriend. She's gonna lose it. She'll be so mad that we didn't tell her anything about Rose, and it's even worse since mom loves her shoes.

Rose rolls onto her back and cuddles deeper into the comforters. I hate to do this. I move her hair away from her face and stroke my thumb over her right cheek.

Her gorgeous eyes flutter open and then shut, she moves closer to me and rests her face in the crook of my neck.

"We don't need to go to dinner." I laugh at Vex. I could stay here with her forever, having her warm body against mine.

Vex gives me a stern look "Angel." She hums.

"Would you please come to dinner with us tonight...Come and meet our family. They will love you and I'm sure Giovanni wouldn't mind seeing you, possibly wants all your bedtime stories" she quickly escapes my hold on her and props herself on her elbows.

"Tonight? When? I don't know, I-I mean I would love to go, but-" I cut her off.

"There is no but, tesoro. They will love you just as much as we do." She smiles brightly.

"Just five more minutes though."

We are in front of the door and Vex and I are both afraid to knock.

My beautiful girl looks at the both of us and she ends up knocking on the door herself.

We hear a small grunt when the door is being opened and Vex and I both relax when we notice Giovanni opening the door.

"Hey, little man" I greet. His eyes widen and he shoots toward us. I start opening my arms, but he runs over to Rose instead.
