Lakshmi couldn't sleep well that night. She was thinking about what Rishi had said. Maybe it was fate that had made her meet Varun again.

Lakshmi blushing and running away leaving her father laughing at her antics.
Varun, holding Lakshmi's hands: Ab to humare shadi bhi ho rahe, ab to ek baar I love you bol do..maine to jab tumhe school me dekha tha tab se hi tumse pyar karne laga tha..par tum ho..ke kuch bolte hi nahi
Lakshmi is shy..Bani shalu comes and teases Varun, while he blushes too

A tear drops from Lakshmi's eyes.
"Baujee..kya se kya ho gaya .hum kitne khush the..sab kitna acha tha..aur ab.. mujhe kuch samajh nahi aa raha mainkya karu..mere dil me sirf Rishi hai..par unke dil me Malishka. Wo to bus mujhse peecha chudana chahte hai. Aur aise Varun ka achanak milna, kya karu Mai.
Maybe mujhe bhi aage badhna chaiye. Rishi mujhse pyar nahi karte, par mera yun akela rehna unhe guilt me dalta hai .so wo bhi khush nahi rehte. Mujhe Varun ke sath dekh sayad unka guilt Kam ho jaye. Aur chahe Mai Jo bhi chahu..ab ek saal khatam hone me zada time nahi hai..sachai yahi hai ke iske baad mujhe Jana hoga...aur agar mai khusi se gaye to Rishi ko bhi acha lagega.
*Morning
Rishi has some important meetings so he leaves early for the office. He was restless after yesterday's conversation, but to divert his mind, he completely immerses himself in work.
It was almost evening when he gets a call from Malishka. He was in no mood to talk to her, but nevertheless, he picked the call.
Malishka (happiness in her voice): Oh my God Rishi! You won't believe what I saw now! I told you...I knew the guy was in love...aww they are looking so adorable together!
Rishi (confused): what are you talking about Malishka! I dont understand
Malishka: arreee Rishi! I am talking about Lakshmi and that guy .from your office
Rishi (shocked): What!! Varun?? Lakshmi is with Varun?
Malishka: Yes, buddhu!! Arre..I came with my friends for coffee near office..and look who I find here..both are sitting in a corner and having coffee together..and oh wow..Varun is holding Lakshmi's hands.. I am so happy.. finally Lakshmi found the right guy .now you can relax..aacha wait..i will send you a pic
Rishi clenching the phone in his hands, feeling anger.
Rishi: Malishka, I have some urgent work i will talk to you later..bye
Malishka: okay bye, love you!
He hanged up without replying back, and heard the message beep. He didn't wanted to see the message, but curiosity got the better of him. It was the pic Malishka had promised.. Lakshmi in a yellow suit looking radiant, and Varun, looking completely enamoured.
Rishi wanted to punch someone.He threw the files on the ground, and grabbed his head.
"This is what you wanted. You asked her to call Varun. She is just doing what you wanted. I know she loves me..why the hell is she listening to me .what is wrong with her?" He argued in his mind, frustrated.
He didn't meet Malishka saying he was unwell and returned back to his house.
Rishi's room:
Rishi was having a severe headache. He couldn't remove the image of Varun and Lakshmi together, and the more scenarios he imagined them close, married, with babies, the more his headache increased. He was lying on his bed, with his hands on his head
Lakshmi's fragrance hit him before he opened his eyes.
Lakshmi: Sanjay bhaiya told me you have headache, so I got coffee for you
Rishi looked at her intently..is she looking happy? What would they have spoken? Would they have kissed?
Lakshmi: aap mujhe aise kyo dekh rahe hai?
Rishi (coming back from his thoughts) Nothing. Thanks!
Lakshmi: You are welcome. Aur kuch chaiye to bata dijiyega
Rishi (neutral tone): Aur, kaise rahe tumhare mulakat Varun ke sath
Lakshmi ( surprised, but controls herself) Ache the..aap sahi keh rahe the..may be it is fate...islea I took your advice
Rishi (curtly) I know tum mujhse pyar karte ho..par
Lakshmi (stopping him) Pyar karte the.. the..par tab mujhe sach nahi pata tha..ab I have accepted the truth..may be it is time for new beginning.
Saying so, she went out of the room
Rishi was having a sinking feeling in his stomach. He felt as if someone stabbed at his heart, and he felt in pain and miserable
What is wrong with me" he clutched his hair in his finger, and let out a frustration sigh.
