Chapter 9

April

Soo Ra's POV:

"Alright guys! At 5, 6, a 5..6..7..8!" I counted down. It was another day of training and practicing dances. This month, BTS had a lot of TV shows where they would perform. That's why we only practiced the dances of the songs they would perform. Arae watched in the morning, but left before lunchbreak due to personal business.

"Ani, Jin-ah, after that sound, step right behind Hoseok, okay? I instructed him. "Mianhae Soo Ra!". "You don't have to apologise Jin, as long as you try your best on it, I'm happy." I said to him with a smile.

"Okay, you can quit now and drink some water. After the break we will be practicing the dance break from 'ON'. That will be the last for today guys." I also grabbed a bottle of water for myself and enjoyed the cold water.

In the meantime, Yoongi and I met up a few times in the evening. He still needed dance practices and he could learn me more about HYBE with everything around it. We really had the biggest fun and it even seemed our bond grew more and more. We even shared stuff we wouldn't tell anyone else.

Through out the whole training I watched everyone's dance moves, but for the most I looked over to Yoongi. At times I received glares from him as well. And from the night of the incident at the gymhall till now, we really grew a strong connection. Yet I tried to figure out what I really felt and what I needed.

"HEY!" I jumped at the sudden sound next to my ear. "Oh?" I was still flustered as I was brought out of my own world. "Aish, sorry for screaming but you didn't react when I called your name for like five times." Jimin said. "Sorry Jimin-ah. I must have been deep in my thoughts." I said.

"Thinking about a boy Soo Ra?" J-hope teased. "Ah...ani.." I tried to get out of the situation, but my tomato red face probably exposed me already. "Ohhhh, Soo Ra likes someone!! Tell us!!" Taehyung said and everyone was watching my way.

"No! And besides, I don't have time for a boyfriend right now. I need to babysit for you 7 guys." I said while laughing. "Yah, Soo Ra!! I'm the oldest one here you know?!" Jin shouted offended. "Jin hyung, you must admit she's kinda right about it." Jungkook said to Jin.

"JUNGKOOKIE, DO YOU HAVE A DEATHWISH?!" Jin threatens and walked up to JK. "ANI ani ani ani-ahhhh!!! Jungkook screamed and ran away with Jin behind him. Everyone laughed at the sight of the eldest running after the maknae.

After the short break with playfights we practiced for the last hour. "Thanks guys! See you in a few days again!" I packed my stuff in my back when I saw Jimin walking up to me. "Soo Ra, would you like to go eat with us tonight?" Jimin asked.

"I would love that, but I promised Aera I would meet her here. Next time, okay?" I excused myself. "Hyung, aren't you coming with us?" I heard J-hope asking. "Ani, I'm going to work in my studio. I'll see you at the dorm tonight, or tomorrow."

It was Yoongi's voice who spoke those words. I instantly got a warm feeling inside knowing that he would stay here in this building, nearby me.

Everyone was already gone for an hour until I heard the door of the studio open. But only to be greeted by an excited Aera. "Why so happy?" I asked with a laugh while being hugged. "Can't I be happy to see my best friend after a few days?" Aera asked.

"Of course. Shall we go eat first and then fool around the studio a bit?" I said. "Let's do it!" Aera screamed in happiness. After we ordered jjajangmyeon and teriyaki we went to the studio to eat there.

"So?" Aera asked. "So what?" I looked at her, not understanding what she meant. "What's with you and Yoongi?" Aera straight forwardly asked. "We're just friends Aera. Nothing more, nothing less." I explained. "And I need to believe that?" Aera smirked.

"Yah! Don't get anything in that pretty head of yours!" I said. "Unnie, don't deny it. I might have been here only for the morning, but I couldn't count how much you glanced at him." Aera grinned.

"Aish, alright, I do see him as more than a friend. But it wouldn't work anyway." I said. "Wae? Me and Joonie are doing great." Aera asked with concern. "Because they're very busy. I really admire you for dealing with that, but I don't think I can do that." I sighed. "And I don't even have the time for a boyfriend. I'm still busy with starting up here."

"I see. But I still think you should give it a shot. You don't know what it's worth until you go for it." Aera stated. "No thanks, I don't feel like it." I said back. I know it was the voice of fear in me, but I couldn't help it. "Besides, I can't permit to lose focus for this job an he must concentrate as well." I told Aera. "Keep telling that yourself. Maybe you'll believe it one day." Aera in disbelief but I sticked to my words.

Yoongi's POV:

I left my studio to go to the bathroom. When I walked down the hallway I passed by the studio. Suddenly I heard Soo Ra's voice and I stopped at the door, which was slightly open.

"...I don't think I can do that." Do what Soo Ra? I kept listening. "And I don't even have the time for a boyfriend. I'm still busy starting up here." Soo Ra continued. "I see. But you don't know what it's worth until you go for it." Aera said to her.

Yes, tell her Aera. Now I get why you and Namjoon are together. "No thanks, I don't want to." Her last words hit me like a truck. I really tried not to think about her in THAT way, but instead I began to like her even more as time went by.

I really began to think she liked me back, seeing how we could talk with each other and how she gave me her attention. But maybe now I knew, that even the slightest change was gone, I would be able to forget her.

Before I would hear more bad words I quickly went back to my studio. But when I tried to work, all I could think about was the words coming from her mouth. I packed my stuff and got home to our dorm. I couldn't concentrate anymore.

At home I bashed through the door and slammed it. The guys looked may way because of the noise. "Yoongi hyung, please don't slam the door okay?" Namjoon kindly asked. The only thing I could do was sending him a death glare and walk straight to my room. Before I shut the door I could hear Jungkook say; "What is going on with hyung?".
