Chapter 4

Aisha's POV

As soon as I got home, I ran, grabbed a lion bar and sat on the armchair. I was enjoying eating by myself when my mum just had to shout "Aisha, hurry up and go upstairs to get ready. The guests will be hear soon. Make sure you were something nice.Maybe a dress perhaps."

I scowled. I didn't understand the reason why I had to dress all fancy and impress people because after the events from today at school, I would probably say no anyway.But I had to give it a shot, for mum.

When I opened my closet, I emptied nearly all my clothes just to look for something presentable. I didn't have much dresses because i detest them. Abayas are a different story because they are more modest which is why I love them. I was about to give up when suddenly i spotted a peach coloured abaya which my elder brother bought me. I felt an unwanted tear fall onto my cheeck. My brother always used to care for me and do everything that was best for me. After his car accident, I felt like i was alone. However fadumina helped me get through it. I promised myself that I'd were this abaya.

After accsesorizing, I walked downstaires to see my mum talking to Ali's mum and dad. I saw Ali smirking at me from the corner of my eye. Now I really wanted to say no and slap that pretty face of his. Before I could even think of brutal ways of killing him, Ali's mum, dad and my mum said in unison

"So, are you going to marry Ali"

I froze, not really knowing what to say. Ali's mum and dad seemed like very kind and sweet people, plus they really wanted me to become their daughter (in law)

"Yes"I blurted out randomly

"Omg habibti you will marry Ali?" My mum said

" Yeah "

My mum went with Ali's mum and dad to make the nikah arrangements.

"I told you that you would say yes to me" Ali smirked.

Suddenly I remember him saying that earlier on before. This was a desicion that i am already regretting ...
