POV: reader
You are sitting in the locker room on the bench in-front of your open locker looking at an old picture of yourself, Catherine and your step daughter Lindsey, it was taken at a picnic a year after your and Catherine had gotten married.
"That was a fun day" Catherine says coming to sit next to you
"Yes it was" you reply not looking away from the photo
"I heard you court the killer" Catherine says to you, you can feel her eyes on you
"Yes we did" you reply as you get up to take your jacket out of your locker
"Look Y/N your tried, why don't you let me drive you home" Catherine asks you knowing that the cast you just closed had been hard on you
"Thanks but I'm good" you tell her as you put on your jacket then grabbing your bag before closing your locker
"Are you hungry? We could..." Catherine starts to say however you cut her off
"Look Cath, I know what you are trying to do and its not going to work, goodnight' You tell her before leaving the locker room and going to your car, you know you shouldn't really be driving Catherine was right about that, as you are really tried and should really ask someone to take you home, just as you unlock you car you can Catherine calling after you, sighing you throw your bag on the back seat before turning around to face her
"What?" You ask not in the nicest tone
"I'm taking you home, don't argue with me, your to tired to drive and I don't want anything to happen to you" Catherine says as she takes the keys out of your hand
"Cath.." you began to say then saw the look in her eyes and knew there was no point in even trying to talk her into giving your keys back, sighing again as you roll your tired eyes, "fine, you can take me home, but your not coming in understood?" You ask her
"Understood, I just want to made sure you get home safely because I cannot lose you" Cathrine tells you
"You already lost me" you tell Catherine before getting into the passenger seat of your car
