"Good evening gentlemen I believe you where just talking about me and my company." I watch as all of their heads turn on a swivel, confusion, anxiety and anger filling the room as they cannot comprehend what I'm doing here. I wouldn't blame them I haven't been present at any of these meeting before but if I wanna make real change, reform this city I have to be here and out there.
"Mr Wayne, it's been so long since we last say you, what are you doing here." My fathers former right hand Earle states.
"I just came by to visit my company, see how well it was being run and see whether or not it needed some change at the top, and by the looks of it, it could be time for some real change some would say a renewal around here." I watch them all panic the plan they had in place ruined. The money grab that they set up by putting my company public yesterday without me knowing going to waste. But I watched as they relaxed, remembering how there little ploy worked and they where safe for there was no way I could possibly own all of the stocks... right.
"Unfortunately that won't be possible anymore Mr. Wayne for the company of Wayne Enterprise is on the public stock market. As you can see in the graph here we've skyrocketed the value of this company while subsequently removing you from its grasp." Did these fools think I didn't know at least a little bit about what was going on in my own company. I watched there eyes the fear consuming them as they waited for me to speak. If this was the influence I could have as myself, as Bruce Wayne, I should of thought of it sooner.
Alfred had informed me of the boards plans to cash in on the company after they were blasted by the media for the failed 'Renewal fund' the Riddler exposed. Therefore, to preserve and rebuild my father's legacy I bought the majority of the stocks using various different sleeper company's and off sore accounts. The fools gladly accepted the offers without doing much research and now the company was back in my hands.
"Ah yes I did hear about that little ploy of yours to cash in on my fathers business after your failed handling of the Renewal fund was exposed. I believe you have received various transmissions of money from a variety of different people and company's in the last few days over the black market." I pulled out the piece of paper I'd stuffed into my pocket this morning and began to read. "12.5% to Energy Efficients and Co., 10% to a Private arms fund, 8% to Alfred Pennyworth, so on... so on... so on." I smiled mischievously as there faces dropped, I had them. "It seems all of these company's and people have a similarity... they're owned by a man named Bruce Wayne".
"This couldn't be possible Mr. Wayne... we know nothing of the sorts... I don't know what you could possibly talking about". His voice rattled as he shook with fear knowing their ploy had been unmasked, uncovered.
"I'm sure you do and as the CEO of Wayne Enterprise I here by fire each and everyone of you for trying to tarnish my fathers name more".
