The sound of water lashed around her ears as Lilly a long golden blond haired fourteen year old girl with clear blue eyes and a love for water opened her eyes and saw a beautiful beach that stretched as far as she could see.  The sea flapped over her feet drawing her attention from the golden sand to the crystal clear water which was gently pushing its way up the beach.  Lilly thought she was alone on this beach, until she noticed something from the corner of her eye, a shadow; she looked up and saw a tall male about the same age as her who had brown hair, green eyes and a pair of smart looking glasses perched on the end of his nose.  Lilly jumped at the sudden appearance of this boy and asked in a puzzled voice

“Who are you?  Have we met?”  The boy opened his mouth and began to speak in a female voice which made this seem even stranger

“Lilly it’s time to wake up, were moving in an hour…”  Lilly glared at the boy and backed away as he repeated what he had just said…

Lilly’s eyes shot open to see a woman with blue eyes and short brown hair who was looking directly at Lilly and said

“Wakey, wakey sleepy head, get your stuff together were moving in an hour…”  Lilly scraped her left hand over her eyes in a half-hearted attempt to draw the sleep from them and asked in a tired voice

“Mum?  Were moving today?”  Lilly’s mum nodded and walked out of the room leaving Lilly to struggle out of her bed as if her legs had been stunned.

A while later Lilly burst through her bedroom door now dressed in a blue T-shirt, a purple jacket, a pair of jeans and a bow in her hair that resembled a wave and ran down the stairs pushing her little sister Natalie back into her bedroom as if in a race to beat her down stairs.  Lilly ran down the stairs and jumped off the last five steps landing on the wooden floor that lead through the kitchen into the living room, as she passed through the kitchen she saw a plate sitting on the counter with toast on it.  As she drew closer to the plate she twirled around and grabbed a slice in mid-twirl and began to eat it as she raced into the living room and grinding to a halt.  She glared into the room which was full of boxes all filled with their possessions and bit a huge piece of the toast off and continued to eat.

She had now finished the toast and was now gathering all her stuff in her bedroom and putting it an a box, Lilly was carelessly putting her possessions into a box but paused when she got to a photograph which had a picture of her, her mother, Natalie and a man who had a wide smile with large green eyes and smartly combed over black hair.  Lilly sighed and carefully placed the picture in the top of the pile, suddenly a toy hit her in the back of the head and Lilly turned to see Natalie who said looking sternly at her sister

“That’s for pushing me out the way before…” Lilly stood up and chased after Natalie whilst saying angrily

“Come back here you little…” she quickly stopped as her mother rounded the corner cutting her off from her sister and said

“Lilly what do you think your doing?”  Lilly looked down toward the floor and said nothing as her mother continued “Have you got your stuff ready?”  Lilly dared to look up and answered

“Almost mum, why are we moving?”  Her mother walked past her toward the bathroom door and said holding the doorframe before disappearing through it

“Were moving because we have gotten sick of this house and its neighbourhood…” Lilly raised her eyebrow in a puzzled way and shook her head while turning away and walking back up the creaky stairs to her room.

Natalie had long blond hair tied in a ponytail and grey eyes; she peeped her head out from the back of the sofa and sighed whilst saying

“I thought I had a chase there…  Oh well I might as well make myself useful…”  She stood up from her hiding place and followed her sister up the stairs and into her own room.  Lilly, now back in her room, fell on her knees in front of the box with her stuff in and continued to place things in it.
