There was no such thing as love. Not for robots, that is. This was Freddy's number one principle. Yet again, he still failed to live up to it. The mounds of stress had constantly built up on him to the point where he couldn't hold it in any longer, and something snapped.
He knew that he could get himself into serious trouble, even so he denied over and over again, passing off every desirable feeling. He pushed it deep down inside, hoping it wouldn't come back up to haunt him.
Freddy realized that nothing could change the way he felt about you, no matter what. Doing this was harming him but he felt as though it was best for you, or more importantly, your future.
What scared him most was the fact he was hurting you in the process of what he assumed was helping you. He sat in his room for hours on end contemplating a way to make you think of him as what he thought of himself; just a machine. He wished to develop the best possible out come.
Even now, as he lay on the carpeted floor of his room, he thought of you.
You, in your silly little dress at Gregory's birthday party, casually laughing along with everyone else.
You, eyes shut and snoozing away in your office, chest rising and falling in an even pattern.
You, working until you looked like hell, eye bags from the lack of sleep.
You, leaning against the checkered wall under the plex, a puddle of red liquid pooling around you.
You, kissing Gregory's forehead, whispering 'goodnight'.
He couldn't stop, it was a waterfall of memories rushing through his head all at once. It was kind of relieving to him in some way.
Freddy's agitation got to him, and he felt horrible for treating you the way he did. He loved you dearly and yet, he still broke you. He didn't deserve you, or any of his friends.
Regret set in as his power drained, unabling him to move. Running out of power for animatronics was basically equivalent to dying for them. The slow decline of energy was immensely painful and petrifying.
Of course he could recharge again once an employee found him, but that wouldn't spare him the gruesome reminder of this agonizing memory. He just hoped it wouldn't be you to find him like this.
"Freddy!"
Ah shit. He knew that voice.
"Oh fuck- oh fuck," you panic as you knelt at his side.
You observed that his eyes had gone black and he was unresponding, still emitting that static noise. Unexpectedly, you weren't insanely distressed as you figured you'd be, you were overcome with a mix of rage and guilt. Not from Freddy ignoring you, but more so that he decided not to charge AT ALL after you fought. He wasn't supposed to damage himself, that was your job.
"I don't care if you hate me, I'm gonna beat your ass later, you fucking idiot!," you screech, fumbling to press buttons on your Fazwatch. "Get people down here NOW."
Pacifying your swirling emotions was not an option, you needed to get these feelings out or there wouldn't be a chance to later.
"I'm soo fucking pissed at you," you mumble under your breathe as you stand up, staring down at the bear in displeasure. "I reckon you can't hear me right now, so let me have this chance to finally rant to you."
You exhale deeply before inhaling, building up every ounce of strength you had to scream.
"How the hell could you do this to yourself for christ sake! For one, why didn't you show any remorse after shutting me out!? That isn't like you at all!," you shout, feeling astonishingly ashamed, "It's all because of me isn't it? Ha..ha.."
