It was another one of those days.
The kind of days where swarms of people crowd every little bit of space there is to offer here at the plex. The paper work that you were falling behind on wasn't helping either. Especially since you've been gone from work for a few days because of a sickness that you caught from Gregory. It's a viral thing you were pretty sure, but you didn't expect it to impact you quite as much as it did.
It's been like this all day:
You have employees ask you simple questions they can literally ask anyone else, but you were there, so they ask you. Then, every time you decide to have a short break, the break room is so full of people going in and out, you have to go somewhere else. However, there was no place besides your own office where you could find some peace and quiet. Plus, you had no opportunities to chat with friends because all of them were plenty busy with their own things. You haven't ate anything in over a day and a half besides a few crackers and a cup of coffee, and there was little sleep to be had from how horrible this "small" cold had been these past few days.
So in other words, you were on your last limbs.
But if you could just get this last stack of paperwork done, everything would feel exponentially better. You've always loved the feeling you get after finishing a ton of work, the burden being lifted off your shoulders.
Although, there were a couple of times when you had to get out of your chair and sprawl out on the floor because you felt like you were about to pass out entirely from the work load.
It must've been 9 hours of straight paperwork before you finally realized that it was already past closing time and you should probably go find Gregory.
After a moment of contemplation, you got up and started heading to the doorway. However, you stopped quite short as you registered that the door was no longer in your vision, but the floor was rushing towards your face. You must've got up too fast because there were black spots clouding your eyes and you felt like throwing up.
You hit the ground hard, laying completely still afterwards like a corpse. It hurt too much to move and you were also exhausted.
It didn't take long for your eyes to droop and fall closed as you lost consciousness.

When you came to, you still couldn't see anything and you were laying on your side against someone's chest. Immediately, you figured out what had happened and you blushed so hard you might've become a beacon.
"I see you're awake," a low rumbly voice murmured above your head.
You began to sit up, but were pulled back down gently. It was obvious as to who this was.
"How long was I out?," you question, feeling a little ashamed for him having seen you passed out on the floor like you were.
"Not for long..," Freddy mumbled, caressing your head and playing with your hair, "-but I suggest you go back to sleep. You really worried me."
His voice seemed to waver slightly at the end of that sentence and it pinched your heart in a weird way. The darkness flowed around you two, enveloping you just as much as the silence did.
