Part 10

Marivi and Maria were preparing dinner while Sergio, Raquel and Paula were spending time together. Marivi was feeling well and was trying her best to make sure her daughter was well soon. 

And on the other hand Paula really missed her mom and worried for her. She was not leaving her side. Raquel, wanting to take care of her daughter, asked:

- Let's see what you did while I was away Paula?

- Oh I forgot! I made a surprise picture for you mom, I'm bringing it right away.

The little girl rushed to her room amid the smiles of the others and brought the picture she had drawn. With great pride she showed her mom the clumsy drawing and began to explain.

- Look mom, this is our family and home. There is my grandma, you, Sergio (turned to him) so my father and.. (At that time, Paula realized that she had forgotten to draw her sibling. But she was Raquel Murillo's daughter. She fixed the problem right away :) ) Actually, my little sibling in that picture too, but in your belly.

This sweet lie made them laugh. Raquel stroked her daughter's hair: You are a very smart girl, Paula, that is great.

Sergio: Paula, this is beautiful. How about hanging this on the wall?

- Yess! Let's do it now!

Paula loved the idea, took Sergio's hand and dragged him into the hall.
Raquel was laughing behind them. A little later, Marivi entered, holding the tray.

- Yes, I have cooked your favorite soup since childhood. Even when you were sick, you would immediately recover.

- Thank you very much, mom. But my stomach is still bad.

Sergio came back soon after, Raquel still insisted on not eating.

- Come on, Raquel please, the doctor said you need to watch your diet.

- Sergio I'm fine, I'll eat later, please.

Marivi: Come on, Raquel, you're still like a child.

Sergio didn't want Raquel to be nervous. 

- Okay Marivi, you can leave the soup. I'll take care of it. And... Paula is in the kitchen, she must be hungry too.

Marivi sympathetically touched Sergio's arm and left them alone.

- Come on, I'll have to start learning to take care of babies from you.

Sergio took a spoonful of hot soup, blew it out and held it to Raquel.

- Let's open your mouth.

Raquel started laughing: Sergioo :)

- Come on :)

Raquel opened her mouth. He fed his wife like a baby, with laughter.

- This soup was tastier like this.

She looked into his eyes, smiled and thanked.

- Come on darling, you eat something too. You neglected yourself for taking care of me since yesterday. You look tired.

- You two be fine, don't worry about me (caressed his wife's cheek lovingly).

Just then, Paula came to her mom:
- Can I stay with you tonight, mom? I miss you so much

Raquel was touched by her daughter's words: Of course my baby. Come here! 

The little girl immediately ran to her mother and they embraced affectionately. Raquel placed a naive kiss on her daughter's hair, who was lying next to her. Smiling, Sergio went to the kitchen to eat and give them some mother-daughter time.

When he comes back, Paula and Raquel had fallen asleep in the bed. Sergio reached softly beside them. The three of them slept together that night, in their most peaceful sleep.
