As Sundari Troops rushed through the shattered fortification, a detonation took down a section of the Northern Gate. "Remember, lads! Our primary aim is to seize the capital and imprison Chancellor Warren and Supreme General Renaldi in Imperial captivity. Men, go! Sundari's Glory Must Be Exalted! In honor of the Empress!" General Botan yelled as thousands of soldiers rushed towards Azeroth's southern frontiers. These Soldiers were not only powerful and technologically advanced, but also fiercely devoted to the Empire and her Majesty. They would go to whatever length to achieve their objective, which is now to occupy Polis and imprison the Head of States. General Botan, on the other hand, was ecstatic since he was directly going to prosecute the Chancellor. Chancellor Warren and Supreme General Diaz were being led out of the cathedral in the capital city of Polis. "We have to get out of the city! It's too close to the invading border, and Sundari could be here within the hour "Cristina had informed. "Lady Chancellor, I understand your viewpoint, but if we run now, we will be seen as cowardly, and your democratic republic and my authoritarian regime will very certainly crumble and will host the possibility that even our own people will rise up against us! We must remain in the city to demonstrate our commitment to Azeroth and its people," Diaz said. Cristina nodded, sighing. "You are accurate in that regard... evacuate the people and summon the guard!" She informed her adviser. "Sundari will not gain Polis without a struggle," she stated as the adviser bowed and moved out to notify local officials of the evacuation and notify the Azeroth army. "Even if we fail.. I must admit, you made a really good chancellor," Diaz stated as Crista gazed at him. "You aren't always the ruler southern Azeroth deserved, but you made significant attempts, and that counts more than you realize," she said. To prevent being crushed by panicking bystanders, guards brought them back into the cathedral. Back at the border, thousands of troops have now invaded Azeroth and are on their way to Polis, the country's capital. Airships launched missiles that detonated when they collided with city buildings. People shouted as warplanes bombed the city and rubble fell into the people and streets below; Polis was under the Imperial Army attack. "Let's go, guys! Continue your advance and assault on the capital! I'm looking for Destruction and Captives "He cried to the men, and they roared back, running into the city and firing at local authorities. The window on the cathedral's top level was destroyed due to rattling, and there was broken glass on the floor as well as items smashed on the floor. Cristine peered out the broken glass window frame at the coming battleships and the city's minor but spreading fires. "Polis... Polis will fall," Cristina said softly, looking at the General. Diaz, who was in a state of disbelief, stared ahead. They knew an incursion was on the way, but not even he was anticipating one of such magnitude. "This isn't a country conquest, Cristina; it's a siege," he explained. "I don't understand your military jargon... What is a siege?" she said, scared. "They're bringing their whole force to Polis... after they take possession of the capital, Azeroth will come under their dominion, and we'll most likely be dragged into imperial custody by the Empire," he explained. "We shall become captives of Sundari," he murmured to her, her cheeks flushed, but she brushed it off. "We go out fearlessly," she added, nodding and reaching for his hand as she was trembling with fear gently. Several street skirmishes erupted between local authorities and the imperialist troops. They realized they couldn't stop the assault, but they could postpone it and give victims more time to evacuate. Cristina and Diaz stood by the window and watched while imperial forces and warships circled the city. Cristina gasped sharply as she felt the building tremble and noticed additional debris collapse. "The tower's integrity is gradually deteriorating," Diaz added. "The previous bombings must've significantly damaged the structure," he added as the building creaked and trembled again lightly. As additional shots rang out, guards yelled down the hall. When imperial troops with firearms stormed into the room, Cristina gripped Diaz's hand deathly tight. General Botan entered the room. "Lady Chancellor... Supreme General, you're under arrest by order of Her Imperial Majesty, Empress Sylvia."
