The Plot Twist

It was a chilly afternoon, Chris and his 3 other friends Jake, Cole and Matt were on their way to go camping at Lake Ontario. Chris is 17 years old and so are his friends. He's been dreaming about going on a trip with his friends since he was young, but will this trip be what he expected? It was now 8:30pm when they reached Lake Ontario. Chris and his friends set up their tents which took a very long time because they decided that it would be a good idea not to read the instructions. After what seemed like forever it was 11:00pm so they decided that they would go to sleep because they were tired.

It was now 3:47 in the morning when Chris woke up to à scream. "Are you guys awake? Did you hear that?" Chris whispered but the silence was making it obvious they were still asleep. Chris got up and walked out of the tent towards the noise. He followed the screams and froze when he saw a boy struggling to keep a float in a frozen lake. Chris was quick to act and ran back to the campsite to grab à rope. Once he got back, he slowly crossed the lake until he couldn't anymore because if he got too close, he could fall in as well. He tossed the rope over to the boy and yelled "grab onto the rope and I will pull you out"! The boy did as he was told and grabbed the rope. It took a bit of strength but soon the boy was out of the water.

Soon after Jake was in the distance calling 911.

They went back to the campsite and sat down to wait. While they were waiting for the ambulance Chris gave the boy a blanket and just talked to him for a bit. He learned that the boy's name was Alex and he was 16 years old. It's been awhile so Chris checked the time and was astonished when he saw that it was still 3:47am. "That's impossible" Chris shrieked. "What is it?" Cole questioned, looking down at Chris' Apple Watch. Once Cole noticed the time, he was shocked. Then right in front of them à portal appeared and out came Doctor strange. " You shouldn't have saved him from drowning, he was supposed to die" Doctor Strange shouts. " WHAT NO!" Chris yells back.

"He's à ghost" Doctor strange continued " he wanted to become your friend then murder you". Chris didn't know what to say, he didn't know if he could trust this random guy who came from à portal. Before Chris could reply Alex turned into à ghost and was flying towards him. Quickly doctor strange made à circle with his hand and the ghost was gone. "It won't hold him for long, I better get to the spell". "What spell?" Chris asked. "À spell that will go back to when you've hadn't saved

him yet." Doctor Strange replies. Doctor Strange started the spell and moved his hands around until out of nowhere the ghost swooped Chris off his feet and they both disappeared. Chris then reappeared in à dark and creepy cave. He was about to find à way out but then à Demon looking thing knocked him unconscious. When Chris regained consciousness he opened his eyes and was relieved to see that it was just à dream. Chris sighed" thank god that was

just à dream". He stood up and realized "OH-NO". Chris rubbed his eyes but nothing changed. He was still in that creepy cave. "Ok I just need to find à way out of here" chris confidently spoke. But it wasn't long before the demon came back. "AHHH" Chris screamed in fear. The demon was getting closer and about to attack Chris when Spider Man shot the demon to the wall with his spider webs. " Oh my god. SPIDER MANNNN YOUR MY IDOL! " Chris squealed. "Um thanks" Spider Man replied. "Let's talk about what just happened. That demon tried to attack you because you are one of the last people in the world to have the ability to control someone's mind". "I'm so confused right now" chris muttered under his breath. " That's normal, just come with me, we are going to the avengers tower". Chris couldn't believe his ears, the avengers tower? Spider man grabbed Chris and swung to the tower. Once they arrived at the tower, Tony Stark walked up to Chris and greeted him. "Welcome to the tower," Tony said, shaking chris' hand. "OMG WOW I cant believe how awesome this is" Chris squeals. " Do you know what is more exciting than that! You are now an avenger". Once the information soaked in Chris was jumping up and down in excitement. Two years later... Chris is happy fighting crime and à good hero.

Chris learned that the impossible is possible!
