Chapter two

Lily's POV

It's been few days after Greyson came to eat at Grandmas with us. And today he's gonna say who he's gonna pick from all of us.

I saw him writing two pairs for under something and all the others under something else.

We all gather around the table where Greyson is sitting on the other side of us.

"Okay today I'm gonna say who I chose. I chose two pairs that means four people out of twenty-four of you. I hope no-one is disappointed with the news" he said to all of looking nearly everyone to the eye.

Heaven grabbed my hand from behind my back and held it tight.

"Now the first pair is... Tanya and Megan" said Greyson and the two girls started squealing. I was happy for the two of them. They are like my other two friends.

"And the second pair is... Heaven and Lily" he said after making a minute long pause.

I looked shocked at Greyson who just smirked at me. Heaven started hopping up and down beside me while I was still in shock.

Heaven pulled me into a hug still hopping up and down while holding onto me.

I pulled Heaven away from the others and looked scolding at her.

"Are you insane? Did you happen to see what happened to me when we danced here few days ago? I almost passed out" I whisper-shouted at her.

"It's okay. Me and Greyson and the other two will help you get over your stage fright" she said and looked at me sending me a warm smile.

I wasn't happy. I have tried to get over it but it doesn't go away. Frustrated I tilted my head back and put my hands on my face.

"Everything okay?" asked Greyson who have appeared behind my back. I slightly jumped from the surprise and turned around.

Before I got to say anything Heaven turned towards him and just said we're okay.

I turned towards Heaven and narrowed my eyes towards her. She sent me back a questioning look.

"Actually. Can I talk to you in private" I asked Greyson when I turned back towards him.

"Yeah, sure" he said and together we started walking towards some room.

"What's wrong" he asked me after we stood in the room in silent for three minutes.

"I have stage fright. I can't be in your group" I said and looked ashamed at the ground.

"Don't worry. We can get it over together" he said but I stopped him.

"I've tried. Many years. But it haven't worked. I just think it's better if you choose someone else then me" I said back to him looking him deep in the eye.

His eyes softened and he pulled me to a hug. I slowly hugged him back.

"Let me, your sister and the other pair help you get over it. It's something that you can't get over yourself. And that's why we are here for" he said when he pulled away from the hug.

I looked at the ground thinking but my mind was empty but just one question circling in my mind. Why does he want me?

"Are you sure? Like 100%? And what if I don't get over my stage fright?" I asked him.

"Then we just won't go to the competition and first work with your stage fright. Team is more important than some competition" he said and patted my shoulder.

I nodded and together we walked out of the room with his hand over my shoulder.

I looked at up and saw that Heaven was looking at us with wide eyes. I sent her an awkward smile back.
