The Nutcracker and Sugar Plum Princess (Eijiro Kirishima X Reader)

Chapter 1

Inside the house, Y/n was admiring the medium size snow globe that look like a land full of sweet but with Drosselmeyer, he was making a huge festive season to get ready "we need more candles...where are they?" When Drosselmeyer moping where the candles, he saw his daughter daydreaming "oh Y/n, no more daydreaming! We have to finish decorating before our guests arrive!"

Y/n faces him and puts her hands behind her back sheepishly "I'm sorry dad, but I'll get to it" she look for the candles sticks that is hid underneath the tree but as the doorbell chimes, catching the attention of Drosselmeyer when he pulls out his pocket watch to check the time "just in time Y/n, twenty-two minutes early."

Drosselmeyer leaves to get the door, while Y/n turns back around to help their maid finish decorating as she unravels a small pink box and pulls out a glass ornament of a beautiful pure white skin ballerina with a golden necklace, the bell tutu in pink like cotton candy, with the top in a soft sweetheart neckline.

"It's beautiful, miss Y/n" the maid said, nearly making Y/n jump "oh Koyuki, you scared me but thank you" Y/n walk towards the tree and place the ornament on the branches "I remember that in UA high, celebrating Christmas and the victory of class A training collaboration, YaoMomo brought this for me and for how it reminded her the thought of me when doing ballet."

The Maid smiles at Y/n, but when the maid gave the plate of
gingerbread house and soldiers, each one comes with bite marks from something"Ara my!" Y/n looked at the maid "what's wrong?" Y/n asked but her answer will be solved as Y/n looked down at the gingerbread "I don't understand, I could've swore I place mice trapped...Think that the mice have found their way into the Christmas boxes?"

When Y/n reaches down and holds up one of the half-eaten gingerbread men, suspiciously she asked "Nanashi really loved anything sweets so you haven't seen him, have you?"

The Maid and Y/n glance around the room for a moment, until the sound of chewing catches their ears "I know that chewing sound from someone" she leans over the side of a nearby couch to catching Nanashi in the act of eating one of the cookies.

She shook her head side to side and reaches down and snatches the gingerbread man from his hands "Oi oi oi. What's was that for?!" Nanashi folds his arms irritably as the maid and Y/n circle around the couch to confront him.

"And yet Kaminari said that he's the better detective" She smirk "mystery solved" so Y/n gets a better look at her brother's face and laughs, folding her arms "you know, if you really wanted to get any ladies, you might want to wash off that frosting before the mice take a bite out of you!" Y/n got out her napkin to wipe some of the crumbs off of Nanashi's face but he swipes her hand away.

"Who said that I'm into ladies?! You can't tell me what to do."

"True but with the frosting like that, I'm sure dad will insist on a bath and let's say that the boiler isn't working" Lied to Nanashi, Nanashi quickly turns and rushes out of the room to wash his face.

Y/n turns to the maid and shrugs with a smile and before they can return to decorating, the door to the room opens, revealing Y/n and Nanashi's Aunt Elizabeth, a friend of Drosselmeyer "Y/n" Elizabeth hug her and then pull apart still holding hands.

"Well look at you, so grown up and very beautiful" she said to Y/n "this is a pleasant surprise! I thought you weren't coming this year!"

Elizabeth chuckled "oh no no no, I would never miss a chance to visit you and my friend?" Drosselmeyer enters behind her "it's been very long you know Elizabeth."

"Don't worry, I'll wait until your party is over before I perform any mischief!" Taking that as a joke, Drosselmeyer frowns disapprovingly for he Hmph and walk away.

Y/n rushes up to Elizabeth and grabs her by the arm when she asked her "all I wanted to know is where did you go this time? I want to hear all about it!" It's true that Elizabeth travel the world so she reported "well let's see. I met the emperor, I sailed on a junk, I had my first rickshaw ride, and I hiked The Great Wall of China!"

"I'd appreciate it Elizabeth if you'd stop filling Y/n's head with your stories! Just because you go travelling all over the world or globe rather than stay put like a sensible person!" Drosselmeyer can act very stingy but he loved them dearly "there's a world full of wonders out there Hans, and Y/n deserves to experience them! I mean, she did graduated UA high."

Drosselmeyer point a finger at Elizabeth and opens his mouth to continue arguing with her but the doorbell rings once again, cutting him off. He pauses, then turns back to say something more to Elizabeth, but this time she cuts him off "I believe that your guests are waiting."

Drosselmeyer's eyes flick between the door and Elizabeth for a moment, before he finally huffs and walks away to greet his guests. Elizabeth turns back to Y/n and sighs "oh I honestly don't know how you keep up with his mixed behaviour Y/n. How do you do that?"

"After two and half years being in UA dorms, we got used to Bakugo reactions since what Kaminari said 'we basically just met you, so it's kinda telling us that your personality is a piece of crap mixed with garbage'."

Laugher filled the air while with Nanashi playing with new toy soldiers on the rug while Elizabeth regails Y/n with stories on the couches nearby "and till then, he bowed and asked me to dance."

Y/n cheered excitedly "tell me you said yes, did you?" Elizabeth chucked "you know I couldn't say no to the king" then Y/n smiled dropped down a bit "must be nice to feel like a princess! I mean I wish I could have been there."

Aunt Elizabeth looks over her shoulders to make sure Drosselmeyer isn't listening "you graduated UA so maybe next time you can come with me."

"Even if I did, father would always come and visit my house to see if I'm in and so he would never allow it" Elizabeth stands up and walks to a nearby table where a few wrapped presents are sitting "well knowing my friend, he won't object to these." She hands a gift to Nanashi, who stands up eagerly to receive it. "To you Nanashi, I hope you like it" she smiled "c'mon Liz, whenever you get me a present, I alway love it!"

She then turns to Y/n with the second gift "and for you" so Y/n takes the gift, but before she can open it, Nanashi has already torn open his gift on the ground, removing two more toy soldiers from the box "no way! The super limited edition of grenadier guard and a bengal lancer! Thanks!"

Y/n carefully unwraps the gift she was given to reveal a nutcracker, dress in red that has red spiky hair with red eyes painted so carefully "a nutcracker!" She holds him up to the light and moves his arm to open and close his mouth.

"He's wonderful! Thank you, Aunt Elizabeth!" She stands and hugs Elizabeth and when Nanashi looked at him "he looked like a rip off version of Jaw" Nanashi said "Nanashi!" Y/n growl at him "in the outside, maybe... but inside beats the heart of a prince."

"Then I'll use him to command my army!" Nanashi stands and tries to wrench the Nutcracker from Y/n's hands "no! Yamete!!" And then Nanashi finally yanks it from Y/n's hands, pulling the toy away from Y/n but thank to Nanashi he unintentionally broke the left arm of the doll.

"Oni san, I'm so so sorry" he holds it up to Y/n shamefully and swipes the toy away from her brother furiously "I can't believe it, you broke him" she turns and sits down on the couch, cradling the Nutcracker in her arms.

Nanashi hangs his head, looking down sadly at the broken toy "I'm sorry, don't be too angry with Nanashi. I'm sure he didn't mean to hurt you." So Y/n reaches over and grabs a nearby ribbon and with it fashions a sling for the Nutcracker's broken arm.

As she picks up the Nutcracker, his eyes twinkle magically for a moment and Y/n thought she might be hallucinating 'must be something with my eyes' she rubbed her eyes but Y/n stares fondly at the doll.
