Just as the mice finish retreating, a crack is heard as the garland comes loose from it's nail on Y/n's side "oh no! Don't...." The garland falls, causing Y/n to swing and crash into the Nutcracker, the two landing on a pillow nearby.

The Nutcracker helps Y/n to her feet "thanks you Y/n, for saving my life." The Nutcracker undoes the ribbon sling binding his left arm "very manly for your superior nursing skills." Y/n cheeks became red and turn away hoping he doesn't see it "it's no big deal" But then "oh no!" She looks around the room, now towering above her "this has to be a dream."

The Nutcracker replied "I could pinch you if you like if your dreaming or not?" Y/n shook her head "no thank you Nutcracker, but I can wake myself up" but the Nutcracker added "well if you think this is a dream, I'm afraid it's all too real."

He frees his sword from the fireplace screen "moreover, I've got to return home to Parthenia while I have the chance." So Y/n asked the red hair nutcracker "is it possible that you would changing me back before you go? Remember? I used to be taller?"

"I'm afraid only the Sugar Plum Princess can reverse the Mouse King's spell." The nutcracker rubbed his neck "I'm sorry. The Sugar Plum Princess?" She asked him "yep, but the bad news is that I've been trying to find her since the Mouse King turned me into a nutcracker."

"You mean you used to be?" Question again to the Nutcracker "not a nutcracker." But then both of them heard a hooting sound and saw the owl swoops down from its perch on the grandfather clock,Y/n runs away and the Nutcracker draws his sword defensively, eyeing the owl as it soars overhead.

"Perhaps I can help" the owl said, voice as a male who wanted to go back to sleep without earning more from both of them. Y/n scurries out from under the couch "listen kids, you will find the Sugar Plum Princess on an island across the Sea of Storms."

"But it's impossible to cross the Sea of Storms!" The Nutcracker told the owl "yes it can be dangerous but it's not impossible." So the Nutcracker walks away towards the mousehole but Y/n pauses, looking between him and the owl.

The owl waves a wing, signaling Y/n to follow the Nutcracker and since Y/n can be very stubborn thanks the the ash blond boy, Y/n didn't move.

The Nutcracker turns around "you coming Y/n?" To Y/n surprise she told him "me? Going there with you?! Yeah I think I'll shine instead" she humph but the owl told her "if you wanna shine, you gotta make yourself useful by taking part, I mean c'mon. I'm sure that you don't want to spend the rest of your life the size of a mouse!"

Y/n mumbled that the owl is right "you win but how would I get back?" So the Owl soars over to the Christmas tree and swipes a locket from the neck of the glass ballerina Y/n had hung on the Christmas tree the day before and he drops it in Y/n's hand and perches on the arm of the couch.

"There you go. Once you've found the Sugar Plum Princess, open the locket and you will return home your normal size."

"Matte matte" Y/n wanted to know more but the owl flies back up to his place on the grandfather clock and freezes "seem like I don't have a choice" Y/n puts on the locket and sighs heavily as walk with the Nutcracker "let's go then."

By taking a few steps into the mousehole the floor beneath them gives way and they fall into a magical portal and Y/n whoa-ed but the nutcracker and her fall for a bit before landing in a snowy cave, sliding down a slope until crashing into a pile of snow below. Y/n stands up and looks around the frozen cave "what in the world! Where are we?"

The Nutcracker replied "must've taken a wrong turn back there. Now where did my sword go?" Y/n spots the sword's hilt glittering in the dim light of the cave. She walks over to pick it up "let me give you a hand" so Y/n pulls out the sword, only to realize her previous statement was literal as the Nutcracker's hand is still attached to the sword which caused her to chuckle "get it? 'Give me your hand'?" The nutcracker laugh too and grabbed the arm and sword from her "it happen most of the time."
