Pimm quickly added if his prediction will ever come true "a...a...according to the Nutcracker I mean." In conclusion, the Mouse king wonder "Sugar Plum Princess? I've never heard of a Sugar Plum Princess!" He whirls around to face a guard who was falling asleep, startling him. "Bring me the royal registry! And bring me the Nutcracker."

When Y/n and the nutcracker are walking through the woods they come across a slightly dilapidated village made of gingerbread covered in a haze "not manly for what they did." The nutcracker commented "it's what's left of the gingerbread village. The Mouse King's work, no doubt." They continue to walk through the village, gazing at the destruction wrought by the Mouse King.

"This is bad, I didn't know things had gotten this bad." Y/n nodded what the nutcracker said and she saw a beautiful soft doll in the snow and picks it up, exchanging somber glances with the Nutcracker.

The two look up when they hear a horse whinny in the distance and they approach the stable when the horse nickers and steps back defensively "it's okay, we won't hurt you" Y/n said, gently calming the horse and the horse leans forward letting Y/n to pet it.

Suddenly, asnowball suddenly strikes Y/n in the back, causing her to stumble slightly "ooof! HEY!"

"It's an ambush! Take cover!" Taking cover, they peer over the wall they're hiding behind to catch a glimpse of their assailants but revealed to be two young children, a boy and a girl.

Taken by surprise, the Nutcracker laughs "oh it's alright, they're just kids." One of the children throws a snowball and knocks the Nutcracker's hat from his head "whoa! With a very manly aim" he added and he pick up his hat and Y/n notices the doll and holds it up over the wall.

"Wait! We found this. Is she yours?" The little girl stops throwing snowballs and rushes to take the doll "*gasp* Kitty!" And to the boy uneasily steps from his cover, hesitant to approach Y/n and the Nutcracker at first.

After a moment's pause he reluctantly gets closer the Nutcracker kneels down to the girls level "Kimi no na wa?" The nutcracker asked them and the boy replied "I'm Kota and this one right here is Eri."

"What happened here?" Y/n asked this time and Eri motions to the horse "we went out with Marzipan to gather Candleberries" she replied and Kota joined standing alongside his friend and Marzipan "and when we came back, everyone here were gone!"

"It was all thank to the Mouse King's army!" Eri finished his words but Kota folds his arms, scowling "this is all Eijiro Kirishima's fault!"

Y/n is wondering who he is, so she asked the nutcracker "Umm, who's Eijiro Kirishima?" The Nutcracker took a sigh "Eijiro Kirishima is a royal son of the king who ruled before the mouse took over."

"Yeah, but he wasn't much of a prince!" Kota said and Eri elbow him "what I'm telling the truth?" Kota said to her however, the nutcracker continued "so the king left his throne and the golden scepter to his royal advisor."

"The mouse" Eri said so the nutcracker nodded "right until the prince could prove himself worthy." However Y/n seems like she getting the picture "okay so let me guess, so the mouse decided that he liked being king and he has a great power for evil and stuff but, what happened to Prince Kirishima?"

"Don't know, don't care and we're better off without him" Kota said "don't say that Kota, he did his best as a Prince" Eri reason him, Kota just humph.

The Nutcracker looks around, his expression somber "well, we can't stay here to long and it's dangerous here. We'll travel together until we can find you a safe home."

Marzipan steps forwards and they all pile into the sleigh she's hitched to and with a toss of her head and a whinny, she takes off down the path.

It was a long travel however, they stop for a moment on a cliffside, noticing movement below when a caravan of troops are hauling large carts filled with candy and gingerbread "*gasp* Mouse King's army!" Kota angered pile up "carrying what's left of our village!"

They're startled by the sound of Marzipan neighing in fear when two mice have grabbed her reins and are tugging on them, Marzipan charges through them and away, sending them toppling to the ground. Then one of the mouse looks up and notices the group on the hillside "look! Up there!" One pointed so all the soldiers all grab their weapons and begin closing in on them.

Y/n looks around nervously before waving for the group to follow her "the woods! Guys come on, into the woods!" And with Y/n in front, the two candy children behind her and the Nutcracker bringing up the rear, they all run as fast as they can through the forest.

The running begins to exhaust them, and the mice begin to gain ground "they're getting closer!" Eri cried but magically something appeared when a rope ladder is thrown down from the trees.

"Hurry up here!" A Voice from the Trees cried and the rest look over their shoulder at the mice "GET EM!!!" All of them quickly grab onto the ladder and clamber their way up into the trees, with the Nutcracker being pulled up at the last possible moment before the mice can spot them.

When he gets to the top of the ladder it's revealed that there is a whole village hidden in the trees, hosting many refugees and villagers. Y/n stands aside holding the children close as the villagers all point weapons at them "is everyone here alright?" The Nutcracker asked so Y/n replied "I have mixed feeling if we are or not."

Two men in uniform approach, each brandishing swords and eyeing the group suspiciously "sate sate sate, what do we have here" Major Mint question as Captain Candy, glaring at the Nutcracker "a wooden spy? Some new kind of Mouse King trap?"

Major Mint catches a glimpse of Y/n and the children "oh subarashii, even kidnappers as well!" But Eri told them "no way! They helped us!" But Captain Candy told them "well, if you have nothing to hide you won't mind answering a few questions."

Major Mint waves a hand to a woman standing nearby "come along children. Masha will take care of you." And the children uneasily approach the woman, Captain Candy gestures them to come inside, Y/n looks back at them one last time before joining Major Mint and Captain Candy for questioning.

"Right let's start with who you are and what you're doing here?" Major Mint burst the first question "I'm Nutcracker, and this is Y/n. We're both victims of the Mouse King's magic."

Y/n nodded "and we're trying to find the only one who can defeat him, The Sugar Plum Princess." Captain Candy question "the Sugar Plum Princess?"

However, to Major Mint point of view, he scoff "as if, I've never heard such a ridiculous story!" The Nutcracker told him "it's the truth, told to me by Prince Eric himself." The Major chuffs at the mention of the Prince "Prince Eijiro Kirishima? He's the reason we're in this mess! If it weren't for that reckless boy, the Mouse King wouldn't be turning everyone into knick-knacks!"

The Nutcracker pouted "seems that you make the prince sound pretty awful." And Major Mint scoff "oh please, that boy was useless and irresponsible!" The Nutcracker looks away as Major Mint gets closer.

Captain Candy comes up behind the Major to pull him away from the Nutcracker "but Major Mint, you're forgetting that Prince Eijiro was my friend."

"Captain Candy! You're forgetting that I am your superior!" Major Mint told him and Captain Candy rolls his eyes while
Major Mint continue "I really had high hopes for that boy..." the Major chuffs "no matter...I've got more important things to think about, like keeping what's left of our subjects safe from that wild bastard of the Mouse King!"
