Kidnapping the Heroes

Chapter 9

" Hmmm, I just can't decide. I have so many plans for all of you that I'm just too excited to choose!" Julia said. All of the fictional characters looked at her, horrified at her enthusiasm.

"I guess I'll go wiiiiiiiiiith............." She danced around the cell, stopping directly in front of her first victim, smiling wickedly.

"You." She said, pointing Percy's nose.

" You're actually going to torture me!?" Percy yelled out, as she unhooked him from the wall.

"Pfft, no. I' m gonna get someone else to do it for me." She said, somehow wrapping him in chains that no one actually notice.

" Then why exactly did you kidnap us?" Robin asked. Ok, the chains were extremely uncomfortable now, and the girl had done her research. He was hog-tied so well that he couldn't find a way out.

"Silly bird, I din't kidnap you, the other villains I work with did. I just organized everything. I don't want to kill you! That's bananas!" Julia said. She was pulling Percy to the door, him dragging along the floor.

"Wait, you don't want to kill us?" Merlin asked, slightly hopeful.

"Of course not!" Julia stated, turning to look at all of them. She smiled an insane smile.

"I just want to torture you all until you feel you're dying, or wishing for death, bloody and beaten to the pulp, and feel as if you'll never see your friends and loved ones again! So, yeah. Have fun in the dark!" She said cheerfully, before closing the door, plummeting the cell into darkness.

Now it was just her and Percy.

"You. Are. Insane. " Percy exclaimed as Julia dragged her through the hallways of..... whatever this place was. Lair, perhaps?

"Yeah, I've been told that a lot." Julia said, chuckling lightly as she did. They reached a pair of double doors. Percy looked at Julia as she started smiling that creepy grin again. What was behind those doors? Frankenstein's lab? His worst nightmares, Luke returning, Annabeth dying!?!

It was a swimming pool.

"So... you like swimming too?" Percy said, confused about this entire thing. Usually, when someone kidnaps him, it's some all powerful adult being that wants him dead. It's not often where it's a fourteen year old chick who just wants to see him tortured because she's bored. He had completely zoned out, and didn't even realize that Julia was wishing him fun. Instantly, his chains were gone, and he was pushed into the pool. However, it was more of a flop than a dive, because he still wasn't actually paying attention. He swam straight to the bottom, crouching on the pool floor. He could see her looking down in the pool, waving. He had a plan. This girl had to be stupid if she thought pushing him in a pool would be torturous. He loved the underwater, how the wet water felt against his skin. It was refreshing.
He would bolt straight to the top, grab her, and bring her down here, where she wasn't in her element. Maybe even do some cool fighting moves while he was at it. On the count of three. One, two.....

He swam directly upwards at full speed, he was almost at the top, now to just-

Wham!

Some sort of force field was blocking the top of the pool, meaning he couldn't get out. He saw Julia laughing at him, as he tried pushing against the force.

Of course. Percy thought to himself. If she's smart enough to organize me and the other guys kidnapping, she's totally smart enough to get me trapped in a swimming pool, alone and wet- That's when something, truly terrifying to him, clicked.
