Chapter 6: Wurmple can Evolve!

Dolos was heading back to his quarters from a nice meal with Professor Laventon at the Wallflower, but a guard who has been guarding Galaxy Hall ever since Dolos arrived stopped him "Pardon me but, I heard that Pokemon can evolve into entirely different ones. I have to stay here to guard the Hall but may you catch me a Pokemon?" Dolos thought and then nodded "Sure, What Pokemon may I get you! And my name is Dolos by the way!" The guard smiled, "I'm Beauguard, and the Pokemon I want is Wurmple!" Dolos nodded. "I'm on it!" Dolos said before heading to the Obsidian Fieldlands, Professor Laventon and a Security Corp followed behind.

The Professor stood next to Dolos "Since you'll be helping with our Pokedex I feel as if you should hold this notebook and write behaviors or just anything you learn. Every bit of research counts, my boy!" Dolos smiled "Got it, Thanks!" He grabbed the book that came with a pen and wrote down information for the Pokemon he has caught so far, not all of it was scientifically necessary such as Rotu loving head scratches and Loki being a sucker for belly rubs.

Eventually they made it to Aspiration Hill, Dolos waved before heading off to find Wurmple.

Meanwhile within the village, Ress, a Security Corp who watches the front gate caught a glimpse of a Pokemon without a tag, he sent a Lvl 12 Bidoof after it. But it ran back to him scared and wounded. Ress was frightened by this and sent out a Shinx and a Starly to guard the Front Entrance while he went to find the Security Corps Leader.

Back in the Fieldlands Dolos stumbled upon a grove of wilted flowers and saw groups of Wurmple, Silcoon, Cascoon, Beautifly,and Dustox. He snuck around but stepped on a stick alerting the Dustox and Beautifly, they soon came after him, launching attacks. Dolos managed to escape and find a 'Flock' of Staravia attacking Beautifly and Dustox.

Who's that Pokemon?

It spits a white silk thread that turns sticky when coming into contact with air. The silk is used to immobilize foes.

Dolos readied a Moon Ball and Pokeball, sending out Loki and Chomps, using Scratch and Rollout on the Staravias. The Dustox and Beautifly took the opportunity to fly back to their three Wurmples, The Staravias had no struggling fight back, being higher level. The Dustox, the Male of group stood there and ran in using Stun Spore, Paralyzing the Flying Pokemon, The Beautifly then used Gust dealing damage.

Dolos ordered Loki to use Snarl and Chomps to use Roll Out, the Two Bug Type Parents joined in with Confusion from Dustox and Gust from Beautifly. The Staravia took their chance and flew off, a rare occurrence for the Pokemon's Species. The Bug Types looked at each other, worried. They flew to Dolos and circled him, as if evaluating him. Then led him towards their Wurmples, Dolos looked at them confused but then got an idea. "Staravias are usually in Flocks yet those two were alone... Are you saying they'll return?"

The Dustox nodded, The Beautifly picked up a Wurmple and put it in his arms. "You're worried about these three, aren't you?" The Beautifly nodded, putting another Wurmple in his arms. "You want me to watch over them?" The parents nod as Dustox hands him the last Wurmple. "I see... I'll protect them, and Jubilife Village will be a safe space for them, I promise!" The Parents nodded and flew off, tears falling down to the ground.

Dolos entered Jubilife Village, he named a Wurmple 'Sil' and another 'Cas' he headed to Beauguard and handed him the third Wurmple "Take care of her, got it?" Dolos asked, The Corp nodded "Got it!" Dolos headed back to his Quarters, taking a rest with his new Pokemon by his side.
