Chapter 12: Bug and Berry!

Dolos had woken up, he looked around the camp, seeing Akari had already left, Laventon had seemed to just be arriving with a Security Corp. "Dolos, My Boy! How was your late night excursion?" Dolos smiled "I caught some new Pokemon!" Laventon nodded "You could imagine my surprise when I checked the Pastures to research your Pokemon to see an Alpha Stantler!"

Dolos chuckled "Yup! That's Alpha, I felt bad since it only had Psychic Moves and couldn't damage Loki!" Laventon nodded "I See, That Scyther of yours was a shock too, Both its arms were frozen solid. Zisu, leader of the security corps, couldn't pry the ice off. But Cyndaquil helped out, melting the ice! I arrived since I heard reports of another situation much like Bidoof and Starly!"

The news caught Dolos's interests, if he handled Bidoof and Starly then he should help with this situation as well. "Care to join me on the long walk to The Heartwood?" Dolos swapped out his team, and nodded but got an idea "The Heartwood, it's that way, right?" Laventon nodded "Well I know a faster way!" "Really?" Dolos played the Celestic Flute, Wyrdeer darted quickly, Dolos hopped on, although Laventon was weary. "C'mon Professor! I'm right here!" Laventon sighed defeated "Always have to try new things..." Laventon got on and Dolos smiled.

"Wyrdeer, can you take us to The Heartwood? There's something going on there!" Wyrdeer howled, running off towards The Heartwood, Laventon was yelling, terrified of the speed they were going. Dolos was also yelling, but he was yelling in excitement.

If its cloak is broken in battle, it quickly remakes the cloak with materials nearby.

As sounds of a battle grew louder, Dolos and Laventon got off Wyrdeer. "That was so fast..." Laventon panted, terrified. Dolos smiled widely "I Know! It's so amazing!" Laventon looked up, seeing a Burmy fall to the ground, losing its coat. The Bug Pokemon struggled to get off its back.

Dolos slowly approached the Pokemon, He flipped the Burmy over and the Bug Type remade its coat, The Burmy then looked at Dolos and attached itself to his bag, and eventually flung into it, landing on a Pokeball. Dolos was caught off guard by the Pokemon attempting to take shelter in his bag but he felt it was quite adorable. The Pokeball caught the Burmy, Dolos decided to name it Dami, and the Bug Type was sent to the Pastures.

Laventon chuckled "That's a new behavior, seems like Burmy is involved in the conflict, shall we check it out?" Asked the Professor, Dolos smiled "You know it!" The Two went up the hill, it seemed to be just a Burmy battling a Cherubi. "I thought there'd be more... It's a smaller battle than the Starly and Bidoof." Dolos said, remembering the training both sides did to stop Silver and Chomps.

"I think they're fighting over this Berry Tree..." Dolos theorized, Laventon nodded "I've heard reports of Cherubi and Burmy living in trees, It's not too uncommon to see Pokemon battling over territory." Laventon said observing the battle. Dolos held out a Pokeball."Blazer front and center!" Out from the Pokeball came a Chimchar, battle ready.

"Use Ember on Cherubi and Burmy!" The Chimchar fired two Embers, knocking out the Pokemon. Dolos picked out two Pokeballs and caught them in a similar manner to Silver and Chomps. "Well that was easy..." Dolos named the Cherubi, Sweety and Burmy, Thym. "Well type advantage was key, Not many Burmy and Cherubi can handle a fire type attack.

Dolos caught sight of the Eevee from who snuck into Jubilife Village, He could tell from a mark caused by Rotu's Aqua Jet. Dolos followed it, signaling Laventon to be silent.
