Dolos and Laventon continued following the fluffy Eevee, They reached a large Mossy Rock, A Leafeon refused to look at the Eevee. The Normal Type shook berries out his fluff and yipped. The Leafeon kicked the berries away,
Laventon thought for a moment and whispered to Dolos "I think that Eevee's in heat..." Dolos tilted his head. "But it's quite cold..." Dolos replied, obliviously. Laventon sighed "The Eevee is looking for love..." He said, describing the phrase in a way to protect the Unovan's innocence.
"I see, But the Leafeon doesn't seem to be interested in the Eevee." Dolos said, confused. "Maybe the Leafeon has a mate... Or maybe it's due to the Eevee not being evolved..." The Two had a silent talk while The Eevee did everything to get the Leafeon's attention, The Leafeon cried out for help, wanting the Eevee to go away.
Dolos decided to intervene, Just so he could pet the Fluffy Eevee but also because of Leafeon's distress. The Eevee, turned around battle ready, Dolos sent out Rotu. "Aqua Jet!" Rotu used an Aqua Jet, Hitting the same area as it did back at Prelude Beach. The Eevee retaliated with Bite.

The Battle continued until Loki came out, The Eevee ran off, Not Ready to Battle the Dark Type. The Leafeon waddled up to Dolos, leaping onto his shoulder and holding its curled tail to him, dropping a Meadow Plate, Dolos smiled, petting the Leafeon. "Thanks, I'll put it with the other one!" He took out the Blank Plate and stacked it onto the Meadow Plate, placing it in his Backpack.
Laventon smiled "Good Battle, Seems like that Eevee's scared of Loki." Laventon looked at the Leafeon "Would it be fine with you if we researched you?" The Leafeon thought for a moment before leaping onto Laventon's Shoulder, Dolos wrote down something in the Notebook, petting Loki.
Laventon had a light smile, Catching the Leafeon in a Pokeball. "Up for some Mochi?" The Professor asked, Dolos smiled, "Yeah, I could use some food." Dolos called Wyrdeer, The Two rode off back to Camp as the Noon Approached, Dolos thought about his father, and how it was sad that Professor Laventon, someone he recently met had already been there for him, more than his real father.
