Giovanni and Kai sat in Alexandro's office, waiting for him to talk. "So, I think it's best for Evelyn to get a break with everything going on. I've been thinking of sending her on vacation." He started. Kai went to say something but was cut off by Alexandro holding his hand up.
"Don't argue with me on this. She is going on a vacation and that's final. She deserves to have a break so this is our way of giving her one. You both are welcome to go along with her but you are not obligated to. I don't want you guys to feel like I'm pushing you in this." He continued.
"Who would protect her?" Giovanni asked. "We have other guards that will be close by and that can easily get to her within seconds." Alexandro replied, looking straight into his eyes. Giovanni and Kai looked at each other for a second before shaking their heads. "That's not necessary. We'll go pack our bags." Kai spoke up.
Alexandro raised his eyebrows in slight surprise but he couldn't say he was too surprised at their actions. He knew the duo were interested in his little sister, he just didn't know how far in their relationship they were. But he decided against commenting on that matter.
"Right. You will be leaving in our private jet, it leaves in two hours, tops." Alexandro cleared his throat, resting his folded hands on the desk neatly. Kai nodded and stood up, Giovanni following not long after.
Kai just hopped nothing unexpected would happen along the way.

In the bedroom built into the jet Evelyn laid lazily over the duvet that was tightly tucked in the mattress. Giovanni and Kai were sitting next to her, Kai's hand laid on the back of her thigh while Giovanni's laid under her, on her stomach.
Evelyn cuddled closer to them, her eyes slowly drooping only for them to snap open in protest. Giovanni realized she was trying to fight sleep and chuckled. "Go to sleep mi amore," he insisted. "I'm not sleepy-" Evelyn tried to resist but Kai's soft tapping on her thigh got her attention.
She tried to fight it, she really did.
"Kai, stop," she whined, her eyes drooping with each second passing. He opted in rubbing the back of her thigh, seeing as she always falls asleep faster when that happens. She stirred but finally let sleep overtake her.
Giovanni exhaled.
"That's probably the longest she has ever fought her sleep." He mumbled. Kai hummed in agreement. "Let's just hope she does not do that during vacation, she needs her rest as it's important." Kai sighed. Giovanni nodded.
"She'll be the death of us one day." Was all he said in reply before he too fell asleep. Kai took that as a moment to admire who he had in a bed that he shared. He was in absolute awe and his body swelled up with pride. Never had Kai felt so happy before.
Evelyn; man where did Kai even start. She was absolutely gorgeous, her pretty eyes that widened with curiosity and admiration. Her freckles, her deep dimples. Or even her birthmark that's painted right on her forehead. She was truly an angel walking on earth.
Giovanni; Kai honestly had no clue where to start because in all honesty Gio saved Kai when he was at his lowest. The way he'd defend him when Kai wasn't in the room. Giovanni truly was a incredible creature, sure they have had many, many, many up and downs but what relationship doesn't?
He was so unbelievably happy. In fact he had a stupid smile on his face every single second of thinking about them. They were his people. Kai couldn't ask for anything better. He learned that home isn't always four walls and a roof. It can be people and they were his home.
And Kai could never ask for a better home.
