Thursday

Today I'm actually looking forward to Thursday, since its my favorite day of the week, becuause of The Weeknd and TGIT on ABC 7. I walk out of my house and instead of Monica, it's Rick.

"Hey Mitch," he tells me.

Am I dreaming?

"Hey," I say back.

"I'm glad that tomorrow I don't have practice. I've been looking forward to roller skating."

"That's nice. I'm glad you can go too," I tell him.

We get to the school and we see Monica right as we walk in. We get breakfast and right as we finish eating, the bell rings.

We walk into my English class, and today we get to work with anyone we want. I chose Rick for many reasons (you know why).

In English, we were just talking about tomorrow and that he's only been roller skating once instead of talking about the articles that we were supposed to read.

The bell rings and we head for P.E. Today is the day that we have to run for a run grade. I usually get B's in P.E. But it's because me and Rick would always run together, or sometimes he'll pass in 6 minutes.

P.E. ends and Rick & we wait for Monica, Jacklyn, and Amber at a table. They sit down and we all work on our science teacher's homework since we all have the same 3rd period. Our class is easy cause our teacher just play videos and give work sheets.

5th period comes around and Rick and I walk into our math class. Today our teacher is letting us sit wherever we want, so it's always me and Rick. 5th period was nothing but laughter and our teacher was cool with it.

6th bell rings and my whole squad walks to Jaclyn's house to do the same thing, but today we all stayed till 11pm because Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, and How to Get Away With Murder was on. My mom knows every time because I tell her. She's ok with it.

Rick walks me home again after the shows and we get to my door step.

"Hey Mitch?" he asks.

"Yeah?" I ask back.

"I know I bug you about this but have you told your mom or your dad already? They're gonna find out sooner or later." He tells me.

"I know Rick but my mom doesn't like gay people for some reason," I tell him. "And she'll freak out if I tell her."

"Rats," he says.

We hug and I walk into my house. Minutes later I get a text from Monica and Rick. I reply to both of them and I fall asleep after our conversations were over.

What does it mean when Rick said "they're gonna find out sooner or later?"

*gasp!* Does he like me? Does he? The question stays in my head as I dream about tomorrow.
