hi! I hope you're liking this...interesting story so far! this is basically just a filler chapter because we're having a hard time remembering what exactly happened in order that night. so we apologize for the short chapter. anyways, enjoy!
The last thing Ava wanted to do right now was go home.
This felt almost exactly like the nights her and Emmy would go to six flags.
She was happy, and felt like the night would never end. She didn't want it to.
She was pondering actually talking to "Matt" himself. Face to face. Or maybe she'd have Emmy say something along the lines of "My friend likes you".
But that would come off so weird, and she knew she'd never have the courage to do that.
Honestly, she didn't even need to talk to him.
Just seeing him walk around was enough.
Just thinking about him...
Was enough.
Emmy checked her phone to see the time.
Eight-thirty.
They then found Emmy's mom, who told them they were leaving at nine.
In thirty minutes.
Ava had thirty minutes until she had to say goodbye to "Matt".
Forever? Maybe. Probably not.
But who knows for how long?
Would he be working the next time they went?
What if he quits his job?
What if he gets fired from his job?
She had thirty minutes.
