Author's Note
It's finally time to see how the other three missing kids are doing. We are finally to the part where I can include shoto, dabi, and eri. To make the rest not so long, I'm probably going to split them into two parts. One for the older kids and one for the younger ones. Hope you'll still enjoy them. Onto the chapter.
Endeavor's POV.
It's been a few days since the night molly told me about her medical issues and things have been better between us. The next day after that night, molly had become shy and awkward around me. It took me a while to convince her to tell me what was wrong, and I chuckled when she told me. She said she was ashamed of herself for getting that emotional and letting me see her cry. Apparently, she doesn't like crying in front of people. I could tell there was more to it, but I didn't think she fully trusted me yet. I did my best to reassure her that it was okay, even though I'm not the best at this stuff. It seemed to have work, and after a while, I got to see a different version of the once rude girl. She was still making fun of me and giving me attitude but in more of a friendly type of way. I eventually got her to open up about ways to help her with some of her issues and found out about a stuffed animal she loves and had since she was adopted. It was a small tiger that was white with purple stripes named tigerie. I was able to pull a few strings and get it from the cabin for her. She was so happy to see it again and wouldn't let it leave her side. Eventually she trusted me enough to explain her magic and even showed me some basic spells. I had the idea of her using her magic to find out about the shoto situation we have. When we tried only one folder appeared and there was nothing about the day shoto was born or who his bio parents are. We were both confused and tried to figure out why it was like that. In the end, we got nothing, but molly hopes that when she reunites with her husband, they could use their magic combined to figure all this out. After a while, molly and I stared to get along. We even stared sparing from time-to-time without our powers and I was surprised to see how well she can fight. She's beaten me every time and likes to bring it up in some of our playful spats. Today, I thought the kid could use some fresh air but there was a small problem. The girl doesn't have a lot to wear. All she has is those pjs and the clothes she got here in, that could use a wash. I thought she could use something new to wear and that's when I remember that there was a box full of fuyumi's old clothes. Thing is, I have no idea where they were. So, I texted fuyumi where they were, trying to keep her from finding out about molly. I didn't know if the kid would be up to meeting new people and I wanted to work on getting her to trust me. After a bit, she told me where they were, and I went to find them. I was able to find them quickly and found something she I thought she would look cute in. I took the outfit and went to find molly. I found her on the couch, watching tv as usual. "Hey molly" I said, hiding the outfit behind my back. "Hey enji, need something?" she asked. "I thought we could go on a walk so you could get some fresh air." I said. "That's great but my usual clothes are in the wash right now." She said. "I know, that's why I got something out of a box of my daughter's old clothes." I said, handing it to her. She looked at it and gave me an annoyed look. "You have got to be kidding me." She said. "Come on, at least try it on." I said. "You won't let this go, will you?" She asked. "Go try it on." I said. She signed and went to go put it on. Seconds later I heard a voice behind me. "Dad?" It said. I turned around to see not only fuyumi but natsuo as well. "What are you two doing here?" I asked. "We were on our way to visit you when you texted me about my old clothes." Fuyumi said. "It was her idea to visit but now I'm curious, why did you ask about them?" Natsuo asked. I tried to come up with something but before I could, molly came back. "There is no way I'm wearing this." She said, getting all of our attention. she had on a medium length dress that was light blue with white lining the edges and a white collar. In the middle was white ribbon with a bow that had a star in the middle. "I think it looks good on you." I said. "I look stupid and i've told you before, I don't do dresses." She said. "Care to give me a reason?" I asked. "I don't have to tell you anything. Can you just, find me something else to wear." She said, crossing her arms. "If you tell me, I will." I said, curious about what her deal is with dresses. She signs before saying, "I just don't look good in them okay." She said, turning her face away from me. Before I could respond, fuyumi spoke. "I think you look cute in that. Better than I ever did. There's just a few things missing." She said, grabbing molly's arm and pulling her away. "Um, who was that?" Natsuo asked. "That was molly. I'm watching over her until the investigation is over." I explained. "What investigation?" He asked. "She was seen with not only shoto but all the missing kids and dabi." I said. "Wait, She knows where shoto is!?" He exclaimed. "Sort of, evidence was found that the kids, not only knew each other as kids and babies, but they grew up with each other as family like molly as said. As it stands shoto has no memory of you, me, fuyumi, or your mother." I said. "So the girl is?" He asked. "To shoto, she's his older sister and our only way of finding shoto." I said. Before he could ask anything fuyumi returned with molly. Molly now had on a scarf around her waist and over her arms, white flats with bows that matched the one on the dress, and a hair clip with two stars on the left side of her head. Her hair was down for the first time since she got here. Her wavy hair went down to the middle of her back. "What do you think?" Fuyumi asked, as molly stood beside her. "I tried to stop her but she's persistent." Molly said, looking at her feet to avoid eye contact. "She looks great! That outfit looks adorable on her." Natsuo said, causing molly to become embarrassed. She looked away but as she did, her wings appeared but much smaller than when I saw them in battle. I chuckled a little when I saw a surprised look on the two's faces. "Want to explain why your wings are smaller than before?" I asked. "They don't like to stay hidden for long, but the size can be a problem, so my family has the ability to have them change sizes based the situation." She said. " Aw, they're so cute." Fuyumi said, giving molly a bight smile. "I feel like you're trying to embarrass on purpose." Molly said, but giving her a smile back. "Well, molly and I were going to go on a walk. Would you two like to join us?" I asked. "Sure, be nice to get to know molly a bit more." Fuyumi said. "Now I know you're doing this on purpose." Molly said. "Why not. There are a few more questions I have." Natsuo said. Since molly already had shoes on, the rest of us got ours on and got on our walk. It was nice seeing the two get along with molly and to see molly coming out of her shell a bit more. Guess I was worried over nothing.
