Molly's POV.

Things have been pretty chaotic recently. This new semester, Ezra and I were supposed to be starting a program for our Zoology degree, but something happened, and we had to move it back for the fall, which means we have to take some filler classes to keep ourselves on track. The new semester is coming up and we are not ready for it. Everything we wanted to do before it started was put on hold because a few things came up. First were a few villain fights in the My Hero world that we had to help with on both sides to keep that world balanced, then we had to attend a few meetings with mom at the clubhouse on important matters that required a UN meeting, the reason we had to be there was in case things turned argumentative. Not to mention I still have my job at the prison that has been going okay but they have given me more people to work with, and I had a bit of a health scare with a dull pain near my kidney, turns out I had sprained my back but with a bit of medication it was back to normal..... Until I had sprained my neck but now, I should be back to normal. So, I've been a little stressed out and overwhelmed by everything. Apparently, it became obvious to Ezra and Dabi because they came up to me and suggested that I should go on a solo adventure for about a week to help relax before classes started. I liked the idea, and we started suggesting what I could do and where I could go. Eventually it was decided that I would go camping in that one world where we found MK and Red Son. We haven't visited since then, but I know the clubhouse was able to find a few people to join. I was excited and got everything I would need ready to make sure I'll just be relaxing and just letting my lion self go wild. The day came and I was doing my last checks on all my stuff before I left. "Ready for your solo adventure?" Dabi asked, as I was finishing up. "So ready, this is really needed." I excitedly said, as I closed up my backpack. "I'm sure it is. Just promise not to do anything stupid." Ezra teased, with a playful smile on his face. "Who do I look like, you?" I joked back, returning the smile. "Funny, but at least promise to call me if anything happens." He said, giving me a worried look. "I'll be fine. This isn't the first adventure I've gone solo." I reassured, giving him a kiss on the lips. "I know but I'm still going to worry." He said, wrapping his arms around my waist. "I know and I think you worry too much. I've had a lot of things thrown at me. I'm sure by now I'll be able to handle anything." I said, wrapping my arms around his neck. "Alright, you love birds. Separate before I end up puking." Katsuki gagged, as the rest of my family walked up to us. "Oh not puking yet? Well guess we're not trying hard enough." Ezra chuckled, kissing my cheek again. Katsuki and Karkat made a fake puking motion, and I couldn't help but giggle at their childish nature. Ezra and I let go of each other, as all of us got to talking about my camping trip. "Alright from what the other scouting groups have found, there is a nice spot for you in the west side of the city right near the outskirts. You should be able to be left alone but still be close by to get to the city." Dabi reported, pointing to an area on the holo map he pulled up. "You sure you don't want us to get you a better map?" Red Son asked. "Yea, we can probably make you a pretty good map. One with some pretty good shops and nice places for you to visit." MK offered. "Thanks guys but I'm sure I'll be fine without it. Plus, it'll be more fun that way. I like finding things myself." I said. "Well, if you're all ready to go I'll open up a portal for you." Dabi offered, closing the map. I nodded my head and started to get my stuff together, as Dabi opened a portal. After making sure I got everything one more time, I waved goodbye and left to the other world. Once there, I made my way to the area Dani mentioned and started setting up camp. The clearing was a nice little spot with a bunch of trees surrounding it and a little pond nearby. I set my bag down and rummaged through it until I found a little orange cube with a red button on top. I pressed the button and threw it over to an empty space. When it hit the ground, there was a flash of light and a small dome like tent appeared. I picked my bag up again and walked into my tent. Just like the house, the tent looks small on the outside but it was bigger on the inside. On the inside it was about the size of a normal bedroom. There was a medium sized chest that I will be putting my clothes in, on the left side of the tent. On the right, was a nest like bed that was made out of soft blankets with another blanket folded up next to it with my favorite stuffed animal, Tigerie, on top. I was the one to decide on that since I'll be spending most of this trip as either an animal or part animal. I set my bag next to the chest and started putting things where they should go. Once I was done, I walked out of my tent and took a deep breath. "Alright, time to let my wild side loose." I said to myself, as I closed my eyes. I felt my magic surge through my body, the magic allowing my tail and ears to appear. It then went to my canines making them sharp enough to tear meat with ease and then to my eyes, turning my pupils to slits. I opened my eyes and flexed my fingers, claws appeared under the ends of my fingernails. Once the transformation was done, I got into a crouch before springing into a run through the forest. As I ran, I let my wild instincts take over and I could feel more of myself change. My eyesight sharpened, I could smell all kinds of scents of everything that came through, I could hear every twig break or the littlest scuttle of nearby small animals. At one point I jumped and used a tree to push myself off to another direction. When I did, I felt the muscles in my legs become more spring-like. As I ran, I felt my wild spirit purring, enjoying the freedom and I laughed along with it. It's times like these that bring me and my wild spirit the closest as after years of sharing one body, we finally feel comfortable with each other and both of us feel like we are at a true understanding. After a while I slowly came to a stop, standing up and leaning on a tree as I caught my breath. As I did, I took a look around and noticed that I'm near the border of the city. As I looked at the city in front of me, my wild side gave me a fun idea. I pushed off the tree I was leaning on and raced towards the city. When I stepped one foot in the city, I felt my magic surge again. I felt the slight tingle in my body as it glowed and transformed. Soon it was gone, and I was now a Siamese cat that was racing through the streets. As I ran, people were dodging out of my way and some were yelling at me. I paid them no mind and just kept running, until I took another break near the entrance to a marketplace. As I sat there, a delicious scent entered my nose, and it made me a little hungry. I made my way through the market, following the smell to a small fish stall. I looked at all the fish and it made my mouth water at the sight. Now I could turn into my human form and just buy one or I could have a bit of fun. I looked amongst the fish until I settled on a nice sized one that I could easily carry. I then looked for the owner to see him off to the side talking to a customer. I thought I would have some time, but the interaction was already done. I let out an annoyed huff and started looking for another way to get my fish. My eyes landed on a nearby stack of crates and that gave me an idea. I focused on the top crate, summoning my magic to create a force field around it. White energy soon appeared around it and it started lifting off the others slightly. I used my magic to move it away from the others just a bit and let go. The energy disappeared and the crate fell to the ground with a thud. The noise startled the owner and went to go check it out. As soon as he did, I sprinted towards the fish tank and jumped to the top. Lucky for me, the fish I wanted was right near the top and was in the perfect spot for me to quickly catch it. "HEY!" A voice said, just as I got the fish in my mouth. I looked ahead of me to see the owner had returned and he was not happy to see me with one of his fish. He went to make a grab for me, but I quickly jumped off and summoned my wings. Just as I hit the ground, I leapt again but this time I used my wings to give me more air and to start flying. I looked down to see the owner looking at me in complete shock. His face made me laugh a bit before I flew away to find a nice place to eat my prize. I flew around for a bit until I started feeling tired and decided to land and rest for a bit. I landed on a nearby trash can, made my wings disappear, and took a look around. As I did, my eyes landed on a little noodle shop just across from me. It was small and it didn't look like anyone was in there right now. It looked like the perfect place to eat my prize without anyone bugging me, unless the owner has a problem with me being there. I jumped down and ran inside, to see no one in there. Maybe the owner was out, maybe they wouldn't mind if I used one of the tables to eat my food. I walked over to one of the tables and jumped up. I sat my fish on the table before sitting down myself and started eating. Using my magic to make sure I don't eat any bones; I ate my fish until they and the head were all that was left. Once I was done, I started cleaning my face like any cat would do. "HEY! What is that cat doing in my noodle shop!" An angry voice said. I turned around to see some kind of pig demon and a human that looked like a scholar at the doorway. The scholar looked at me like I was cute and the pig just looked annoyed to see me. "Oh Pigsy, I'm sure the poor thing was just looking for a place to eat its food. I'm sure it didn't mean any harm." The scholar said, placing a hand on the pig's shoulder. "Maybe but now I have to clean that table." The pig humped, crossing his arms. I just rolled my eyes, used my magic to levitate what was left of the fish, jumped down from the table, walked over to the trash can nearby, and threw the fish away. I looked back at the two to see their eyes wide open in shock. "There, all you need to do is wipe down the table. Happy?" I remarked, before walking out and leaving them both in a state of shock. Once I was back outside, I noticed that the sun was getting close to setting. "Guess I should head back to camp. I've had my fill of fun today anyway." I said to myself, before making my wings reappear and took off. It took a bit but eventually I made it back to the outskirts of the city. I landed next to a bunch of trees and transformed back into my half human/ half cat self. I started walking back to camp, when something caught my eye. Over to my left, laying next to a bush, was a bronze statue of what looks like a demon. I walked over and crouched down next to it. I reached out my hand to grab it but just as I was about to, it let out a bright light that blinded me. When the light faded away and I was able to see again, it was gone. I looked around but I couldn't see it anywhere. I was a little confused, but I just shrugged my shoulders and made my way back to my camp. When I finally got there, the sun was setting and I was worn out. I decided to call it in early and walked into my tent. I flopped into my little nest and took off my shoes and socks, placing them next to my bed. I laid the now unfolded blanket over me and curled up into a ball, holding Tigerie to my chest, before shutting my eyes and letting sleep take over.
