Cas rolled over from Dean, his wings folding back and away as he took a deep breath.

He stood from the bed with a flush. He had just low-key kissed the shit out of Dean, it following a blushing explanation after Sam's little outburst.

"If you ever want to do that again, you can just ask. Don't have to go around practically groping me, Dean."

Dean hid his face in the bed comforter, embarrassed. Sure, he'd done plenty of shit with girls more embarrassing and thought nothing of it. But this was Cas. Castiel, angel of the frick frack tic-tac son of a smick smacking Lord.

Dean panicked slightly, but reminded himself that this wasn't technically gay. Sure, Castiel was habituating Jimmy Novak's body, but angels were genderless. It was just that the... Multi-dimensional streak of celestial intent he was now apparently dating was intermidst a male body. And generally used male pronouns.

But hell, Cas had told him of a time he came to earth to take care of a nephilim, and had used the body of a very nice lady from Charleston. And so Cas was a she then.

But then Cas was gender fluid, didn't that make him technically LGBTQ+? And then the whole thing about God hating if a man lays with another man like he would a woman-

"Dean, since when have you cared much about what is Holy?"

"Huh?" His voice was muffled.

"I can hear you worrying. Don't worry. You can't physically carry children, so it's not like there's going to be a nephilim produced in this relationship."

Dean flushed harder.

"Cas, bud, woah, we made out once and now it's sex and kids... You go too fast for me."

Castiel blushed too.

"Forgive me, Dean. I was looking at this logically."

His piercing stare and electric blue eyes bore holes in Dean.

"Alright... Alright. Come on, I'm sleepy now." Dean pat the spot on the bed where he was laying down.

Cas sat and lay, starting to close his eyes as Dean was.

The two new lovers faded off to sleep.
........

When Dean awoke, he saw Castiel's eyes open and he sat up.

"Hey, Cas..." But there was no response from the sleeping celestial being, except a loud snore.

Dean heard a knock, and Sam crept in the door.

"Hey Dean," he whispered. "Wanna learn a new fact about birds I just read?"

Dean gave his brother a weird look, and looked back at Cas, who was actually sleeping with one eye open.

"What is it, Sam?" Dean replied with a weary sigh.

"Some birds, specifically ducks, have been known to sleep with one eye open, how weird is that?" He looked at the lounging Castiel.

"Oh hey Cas, didn't realize you were awake!" But the slumbering saviour didn't wake.

"About that duck thing, creepy huh?" And then Sam slid silently bout of the room as he had come.

Dean facepalmed.
