Dean sat on the bunker chair across from Cas, very very tired.

What can he say? Angels have stamina.

....okay anyways
Dean rubbed his eyes and tried to shake some of his exhaustion off. With a great stretch, he yawned.

His eyes fell on Cas as he returned to his quiet sitting in the chair. A second or two passed, and then Cas yawned as big, but lights flickered and the bunker hummed.

"Whoa, Cas. That yawn nearly shut down the bunker."

"I- I don't think I've ever yawned on Earth," the angel said strangely. "It's something tabooed in Heaven, for... Reasons."

The angel was propped up in the bed, wearing only the bedsheet, but with the most innocent and exhausted look.

Dean felt another deprivation of oxygen and his body yawned again. He didn't see as Castiel covered his eyes.

But ...

With a massive, exhausted yawn from the angel, the lights went completely out in the bunker, muffled cursing from Sam somewhere making the picture so funny to Dean.

Yet the amusing moment was cut short by his brother stomping through the door. In Dean's particular state of undress and Cas's clear position under the bedsheet, Dean scrambled to hide somewhere.

"DAMMIT DEAN, DIDN'T I TELL YOU!?" Sam hollered as he turned his back, blushing slightly after he saw Cas.

"What!?"

"Ugh, you never listen to me! Some species of birds can catch each other's yawns! And when angles yawn, we get power outages."

Cas flushed in shame, but Dean stuck his head from the other side of the bed above the mattress.

"Wait... How do you know that they can cause power outages?"

"Gabriel. Lucifer. Gadreel." His expression darkened like it did pretty much all of season four.

"Yeesh, forget I asked. Fine, I will stifle my yawns and die."

"Dean," Cas was suddenly very concerned. "Humans cannot really die from not yawni-"

"I was exaggerating that I will suffocate, Cas."

"Oh..."

But when they looked back to Sam, the door slammed shut. Dean crawled in with Cas, not bothering to put on pants.

"Good night, my angel."

"Good night, Dean."
