Eddie's POVAs I left Chris's place drove over to the record shop to see Fallon, hopefully, we would go back to her place and I can sneak back the tape. I was a bit stressed out about how I am going to do it without her noticing, and what would she do if she found out that I took it and listened to one of her demos. I mean ya I would apologize profusely, but I would be able to tell her what I thought about it and that she had talent and I find it inspiring. I arrived at the shop "Well here goes nothing," I whispered to myself.
As I walked into the shop, I saw Craig behind the counter reading the newspaper. "Hey, Craig! how are you? is Fallon here?" I said since I didn't see her in the store. "Hey there Eddie, I'm doing fine, it's been a bit slow today. Fallon left with Jeff after her shift, I think they went skating or something. I'll let her know that you stopped by," Craig said as he went back to reading his paper. "She went out with Jeff? I didn't know they were going to hang out today?" I said to myself but Craig overheard me say it.
" Ya, Jeff stopped by and asked Fallon what she was doing after work and she said nothing, so he suggested that they go skating. Why? is there something going on between you two?" Craig asked while putting the paper down with an eyebrow raised. "Uhh, I'm not too sure what's going on with Fallon and me. I mean... I do like her, but we didn't really plan for anything for today...Thanks for letting me know Craig, but I gotta get going, see you later," I said walking towards the door, but Craig stopped me by putting his hand on my shoulder. "Look Fallon is a good girl, I don't think it means anything by her going skating with Jeff, I mean they both skate. They are most likely just hanging out as friends, don't get the wrong idea okay?" Craig said with a genuine facial expression of concern.
"Ya...thanks, man!" I said as I continued to walk out of the store. I was still caught off guard from what Craig had told me about Jeff hanging out with Fallon. He wouldn't do anything to betray me...he knows that she has some kind of an effect on me right? I think I'm overthinking this, maybe Craig is right, maybe they are just hanging out as friends. They both do love to skate and they have that in common...maybe this is a good thing...this could mean she could get along with the rest of my friends as well. I'm just overthinking, like Craig said I shouldn't the wrong idea and Fallon is not that type of person, we had a connection last night and she hasn't left my mind since. I should just go back home and once Jeff comes back I'll head over to her place tonight...ya that's what I will do.
I walked back to my car and headed back home.
As I went to open the door, I heard chattering and laughter, as I walked in
"Hey, Eddie! where have you been all day?" Jeff asked.
As I saw Fallon and Jeff on the couch drinking and watching the game. I was a bit surprised to see Fallon at my home hanging out, but then I notice she had an ice pack on her face...what happened?
"Hey, Jeff...Hey, Fallon? I didn't know you were going to be here?" Eddie said with a concerned look.
"Hi Eddie, ya...we went skating and I took a bit of a slam today...fell off my board when I was doing a trick...it's not as bad as it seems," Fallon said while removing the ice pack from her face.
"So we came here for some drinks to relax for a bit," Jeff said while watching the tv.
I went over to Fallon when she removed her ice pack and grazed my hand over the cut on her cheek, she winced a bit from it being bruised.
"Ow!" Fallon said
"Sorry, are you sure you are okay?" Eddie said
"Ya, I'm fine...I had way worse injuries from skating haha," she said with a burst of small laughter at the end.
I smirked a bit, relieved that she was okay but still concerned about her well-being.
"I stopped by your job today, to see you but you weren't there," I said
"You did? Oh sorry, I worked an early shift today...did we have something planned today?" Fallon said with a worried look.
"No, we didn't have anything planned, I just wanted to see you today, which still worked out today," Eddie said with a smile.
"Awww isn't that sweet!" Jeff said with a sarcastic expression.
"Fuck you!" Eddie said with a smile.
"Well I'll just leave you two alone, I don't want to be the third wheel here, I'll be in my room, see ya later Fallon," Jeff said as he was getting up from the couch.
"Nah you can stay here and watch the game, Fallon and I will hang out in my room," Eddie said while grabbing her hand to get up from the couch.
"Ooooo!" Jeff said with a wink. "Well if you guys gonna do anything kinky, at least turn up the radio so I don't hear anything weird," Jeff said with a laugh
Smack! Fallon punched Jeff in the arm after his comment.
"OW! okay okay, I won't say any more. hahaha," Jeff said as he rubbed his arm.
We went into my room and as I closed the door and grabbed Fallon and kissed her, like I haven't seen her in years. I threw my jacket on my bed, but then something fell out of my pocket and fell to the floor, Fallon went to pick it up.
"What are you doing with this?" Fallon said with a confused wide-eyed look.
"I'm sorry, please let me explain," I said.
