CHAPTER THREE

Tequila's POV

I smelt him before I saw him, from my space in the trees I could hear his paws hit the forest floors and feel the power he was emitting from the trees where I was hiding. I knew they could smell me but they wouldn't be able to point out my exact location cause I made sure to rub against most of the trees.

I was a little hurt when he didn't attempt to find me but I understand that, but another thing that intrigued me was the scent on him, he smelt like another woman and sex. I was not expecting him to be a virgin after all I wasn't one. I could feel ila trying to come out but.... oh well. I can't lie though he has to be the sexiest man I have ever met and I have met a lot of sexy men. I could feel the pull set in, just as the conflict set in, I knew within myself that the mission was already compromised by knowing he is mate.

I stayed in my spot for a few minutes trying to gather my thoughts before I decide what to do, I considered going back to my father and telling what happened but knowing my father, he prefer to use me to get to the alpha king. I settled on continuing with the mission until fate decides what to do with us. I knew it wouldn't be easy considering he wasn't celibate and the urge to kill whoever he's been with was almost overwhelming, I needed to figure out how to enter the village unsuspected and somewhere to stay.

Sending my dad a quick text, I give a few update on the mission so far; entering into the alpha's territory and being able to entering without being noticed or caught. He tells me that my new fake family would come meet me at my spot and that my story is that I am a distant cousin from one of the packs in wales, visiting for a while. I roll my eyes knowing he can't see me I would never do that in front of him or I will be punished dearly, my fake family is probably a spy or some people who were heavily bribed or threatened, at this time of the war everyone is trying to make alliance that would probably save their skin should things end badly.

I didn't have to wait long, I could hear a set of paws hit the forest floors as I let my scent drift out to give the person easy way to find me, I was shocked to see a white she-wolf coming towards me. they were known to be the purest and innocent members of the pack almost like the omegas but most packs treat them like scum because they are not very strong and are dependent. she stops a few feet away from me and transforms into a young lady, she should be in her early twenties and she looked so innocent and beautiful but her eyes told a different story. I have been told the eyes are the windows to the soul, I can see the pain in her eyes and the storm in her almost transparent eyes. she doesn't say a word but turns around and gestures for me to follow her which I do quietly observing her as we walk.

Before long we came to a house at the edge of the woods not too far away from the border but far away from the pack house, this doesn't come as a surprise to me because white wolves tend to keep to themselves because of the abuse they face. inside the house was almost empty and lifeless, she led me up the stairs to a room down the hall. it caught my attention they were about six rooms in the house but they all seemed to empty. she never said a word to me as she opened the door to the room gesturing for me to go inside. the room itself was a beauty, simple and beautiful and empty like the rest of the house, nothing personal I turned to the lady and said to her.....

'thank you, my name is tequila' I couldn't explain the urge in me to talk to this mystery lady.

she laughed, it was soft and melodic ' I know who you are' she replied 'my name is tiana., rest a bit we have a lot to talk about when you wake'.

I felt a little at ease after hearing her voice, I went in took a shower and laid down to sleep, knowing it would be a while till I get another chance to sleep and knowing its only a matter of time before the nightmares start....
