TEQUILA'S POV

'I will kill you' I was frozen in fear as his hands reached for my neck, I could taste the tears from my eyes and the next moment I blank out but when my eyes open again. I was standing over his lifeless body his eyes sockets empty and his mouth open in a silent scream. my first kill... I drop to the ground panting heavily and black out.....

Shock goes through me in waves as Tiana rushes into me claiming the alpha was here to see me, she kept muttering how I was his mate because he traced my scent to her house, if it was just anymore else he wouldn't be interested. I forgot to put my scent off before I went to bed. thoughts rush to my head as I think of what next to do, if he finds out that we are mates I'm screwed but him knowing is going to compromise the mission. I hid my hair behind a blonde wig and my eyes in a blue contact, dousing my scent a little bit with a neutral smelling perfume hoping it would dilute my scent and help him not mark me. I walked behind Tiana deep in thoughts, this encounter could go really great or really bad.

I enter into the living room with my eyes downcast just praying to whichever gods will be willing to listen that he doesn't act rash and try to mark me. I felt him before I got to the floor, he screamed power, authority and everything male, he stares for a while before he opens his mouth ad pronounces me as his mate, I don't why but shock still runs through me but I cant deny the instant attraction to this powerful man in front of me, as he reaches out for me I take a step back purely out of instincts he pauses and stares.

'my name is Jonas Carlos, you can call me Jonas ' he stretching out to me to shake
' I am Rosa Hernadez' I say to him taking his hand I could feel the sparks running up and down my arm I nearly moan from how good it felt.
There's an awkward silence as he looks into my eyes as I resist the urge to close them. I hear someone cough and it breaks whatever trance he was in. I look up to see another man almost identical to Jonas in height and body structure but not quite as handsome. he looks at me with a smile.

'Good day Luna, I am his beta Wisdom Walter, you can me Walter though' he said still smiling, he was so cute I had to smile back, I nod to him and turn my eyes back to my mate who hadn't stopped looking at me.

'you are not a member of my pack' he said, I roll my eyes at him for stating the obvious, he growls at the disrespect but I pay him no mind.
'I am from blue flame pack in Mexico, I'm here to visit my cousin' I say not breaking eye contact with him, he comes closer and I can feel the tension from his body it makes my throat dry and make me bite my lip, then licking it with my tongue as I watch his eyes follow the move before he swallowed softly. he stares into my eyes, then my lips and back again and I can almost see how much he is fighting himself not to kiss me. it makes me happy that I'm not the only one suffering. he takes a step back and his eyes fogs over. it was between him and his beta as his beta had the same fog over his eyes. after a while they finish and he regards Tiana.

'Turns out your cousin is my mate, I really want to take her home and all that but for the sake of the current threats I wont be doing that but I will be assigning two guards to the two of you in the morning, I can already tell she's stubborn that's why im not telling her this. do take care of her and I will come see you in the morning' he says to her before turning and leaving the room without another word to me. what poor manners I think to myself as he walks away from me.

I storm up the stairs in anger removing the contacts and wig on my way, I shut the door with much force than necessary I heard Tiana's giggle and I couldn't be more enraged.
