Kali's POV

I made it. I made it alive. This mission was the hardest. Hardest because there was a possibility of losing my life in the process.

But, yeah, I made it. And now, even if I'm not allowed to leave yet, I still did. Because I gave my word that I will be there and I never break my word.

That's why now, I am in my room at the palace. My team doesn't know I'm already here. I told the elites to keep it from them. Now, I'm staring at the wall thinking...

"Are you still mine, Kith?"

I asked no one in particular. I was informed by Ruben... Yes, the same Ruben that is working at the Stark mech shop. I talked to him before I went on my mission. He sent a message that a girl from Kith's past came back and they are together now.

Soon, they will arrive. I want to see them. I missed them. Especially him. But what hurts me is when Artemis, told me that Kith will bring the girl.

Why does he need to bring her here when he knows there's a big chance of me being here? But for whatever reason, I will not let them see my pain. This time, I will face them with my true self.

Not the Lady Amaranth that they know but someone else who is more powerful than her. This time, they will face the queen.

Not that long, I got a message from Artemis that they arrived.

It's time to meet them again. I got ready. I wore my black ball gown. I put on my blue contact lenses and my mask that will cover my whole face. My hair is up. I got an extension up to my shoulder for this night.

And before I leave my room, I took a last look at the mirror.

"O aʻu o le Masiofo ma o le a latou ifo mai ia te aʻu,"

I am now standing outside the room where the Starks are with my team. I signaled the elites to open the door. They stopped talking and turned to me.

'He really brought her,' I said to myself.

I continue walking towards them and stopped beside Zed and look at them one by one.

I heard Boy mumble that I am scarier than Kali. If he knew it was me I'm sure he'll go nuts. This guy is the epitome of exaggeration.

"I see we have extra here," I said. My voice can't be recognized because of the device we are using.

"We are waiting for Mr. Stark's decision, my queen," Zed answered me.

I hummed and look at Kith.

"So, what will it be?" I asked.

"Why can't I stay when I am invited?" The girl butted in. The nerve of this woman.

"Shiena" Kith warned her.

"Who invited you? Him?" I asked pointing at Kith.

"Yes. He's my man and this is his gala," Shiena answered me.

That hurts but I need to endure. I lowered my head before I started laughing. Kith's siblings are smirking. I know they don't like her.

"Ooh, she's gonna get it," I heard Zy say.

I stopped and look at her. Though they can't see my face, my blue eyes are visible and they can see how angry I am through them.

"Listen here, you are inside my domain. Whatever I do to you, no one will care. These people are here because I allowed them unlike you, and do you have any idea what we do with people like you that aren't on the list?" I asked
