Work has decided it is time to shine.

Weeks of spending too much time in your room due to the mountain reports and problems that showed you it's rear end with pride. Your eyes stay on the glowing screen, mindless typing.

Your room was a mess. Hell, as well as you.

You have been in the same clothes for a week now, your hair is a tangled mess and your eyes have been exposed to too many screens so you tried solving the pain with bluelight glasses.

Wong and Stephen have noticed your isolation, not sure if they should intervene

"She's been in there for a month now" Stephen walks out of the hallway seeing Wong "Don't exaggerate. She gets out when she need water" Wong quips

"At Least she's staying hydrated" Stephen mumbles.

You click off the document you were working on, sending it straight to Management. Now checking for any unanswered emails, charts that needed editing and contracts that havent been breached yet.

But everything was empty.

You had no more work. It was done.

Your eyes widened "Holy shit" A smile of victory appears on your face "Holy shit!" You repeat jumping from your seat, startling Cayenne, who slept on a pile of clothes "Oh My God, oh my God, oh my God" You repeat excitedly, grabbing clean clothes and heading to the bathroom.

You run out of your room, happiness radiating in your smile "Wong! I finished my work!" You inform him gleefully "Good job" He pats you in the back before doing another round of guarding the Sanctum "Anyways, Strange! You wouldn't believe what I just did!!" You run off once more

~~~
"Oh God..." You stare at the mess your room has become. "Did a hurricane visit you?" Stephen jokes
You hit the doctor in retaliation "Y'know, I was due for a cleaning day anyway. I don't mind" You sigh
Walking through the mess, you look for your phone but instead your foot was caught on stray clothing, tripping you "Fuck!" You wait for impact but you see Stephen's cloak holding you before you hit the ground
"Woah, hello there" You groan as it makes you stand upright "Thank you" You watch as the floating fabric nods happily before retreating to Strange
"Is your cloak alive or something?" You ask, spotting your phone
"I guess, it's a relic. Apparently it chose me" Stephen shrugs
"It makes you feel special doesn't it" You tease as you dial Vernons number
"Whatever" Stephen rolls his eyes before walking away
"Vernon, please send some cleaning supplies. I'm doing a cleanup in my room, maybe even around the Sanctum" You lay the phone down on your bed, putting it on speaker "Feeling responsible today?" Vernon jokes "Yeah, my room is a mess and I think it's about time I clean for myself"
"You're so independent, I'm surprised"
"I can fire you, you know?"
"Yeah, but I know you won't"
"Just shut up and get me cleaning supplies"
~~~

Dirty laundry has been picked up when the supplies were delivered. You carry the heavy laundry basket to the small closet that had the washing machine

"Jesus, why do I have so much clothes? I didn't even change during the month!" You complain, throwing the separate pieces of clothing into the machine.

You have already sent some of the clothes to be dry cleaned. While you wait, you head back into your room to pick up any stray litter and empty your tiny trash cans both near your desk and in your bathroom. You drag the light trash bag around the Sanctum, approaching Stephen's door

"Stephen? Do you have anything you want to throw out- Oh God!" You knock and open the door before being greeted by a half naked Stephen

"What the hell?? Lock your damn door dude!" You yell in fright

"You opened the door!?" Stephen retorts

"Just- Lock it, I wouldn't have gone in if it was locked!" You yell back "Stop arguing! You're not a married couple" Wong passes by with an annoyed sigh

You roll your eyes "You know what, take out your own trash" You walk away, a light rose flush appearing on your cheeks

˜˜˜

You look over to the clean room, smiling in victory. You decide to clean other parts of the Sanctum, grabbing a mop.

Smoking out the Window by the band Silk Sonic begins playing in the background "This bitch! Got me, paying her rent, paying for trips!" Singing out loud, you sway to the music as you clean the wooden floors

"You got me! Smoking out the window~" You belt out as you hear shuffling behind you. In no time, you turn and point the end of the mop to... Stephen's cloak

"Oh, hello" You retreat the mop "Shouldn't you be with Stephen?" You ask as it points to a spot you missed "I can't believe that I'm talking to a floating piece of fabric right now" You watch as it shrugs "Speaking of... Where is Stephen?" You move over to the kitchen

"I'm right here" He greets, slightly embarrassed at the interaction you shared earlier

"Yeah... Sorry about earlier"

"No, you were right. I should've locked the door. I guess I forgot" He shrugs before checking his watch

"Well, I'll grab some lunch for us. Do you want anything?"

"Surprise me doc" You turn back to wiping down the counter as he walks away. Wong appears right after "Peculiar" Wong furrows his brows "What is?" You try to find out what he was looking at "Stephen. He never admits that he's wrong. Too stubborn for his own good" Wong shakes his head before walking away.

~~~
Lunch ended and The others decided to deal with something that you had no business knowing.
Leaving you alone in the Sanctum. Uptown funk blasts through the speaker as you sway your hips "Don't believe me just watch!" You slide through the hardwood floors, but due to the fresh wax you just applied, you had an unfortunate fall
"Crap!" You rub your arm in pain
"Why?"
You look up, gesturing to nothing.
~~~

The time was four thirty in the afternoon. Wong and Stephen still haven't gotten back. Most of the cleaning has been done, though you never got to clean the relics in fear of breaking one of them and the amount of trouble you would get into. So you laid on the shiny floor of the living room, bored as hell. Music is still playing through the speaker "I'm hungry... But I'm too lazy to get up" You roll over in frustration.

Soon enough, small paws connect to your back "Cayenne?" You lift your head up a little before it gets pushed down by the cat, she meows in victory "I know you like to annoy me dear, but I kinda need to see things with my head" You hear her meow before she walks off your body, using your head as steps as she gracefully sat down

"You are a diva, and I love that" You quickly give her a treat before diving into the couch with a loud grunt

"We're back!"

Your head perks up "Why did you leave me alone for three hours!? It was so boring!" You whine as Stephen gives you a side eye "There was a situation. One that you don't need to know" He pats your head before heading off

"You could've left the cloak here so it could keep me company" You shrug

"Fine, the next time we need to leave, the cloak will stay"

Stephen walks away and you smile. The cloak floats over to nudge you

"Oh stop that" You retort

"We're gonna have so much fun" You think and drag the fabric away.
