Chapter six – Sloppy Kisses
“Hey…….stop that!” I yelled at two cheerleaders, who seemed liked they were trying to win a hair pulling tournament against each other. “I said stop it.” I yelled at them, at the same time doing my best to pull them apart.
“She stole my boyfriend.” The brunette screamed after I pulled them apart.
“He said he doesn’t love you anymore.” The blond screamed back.
They looked ready about to attack each other again, but I stepped in between them holding both my hands up calling a time out. “Enough! This is a school, if you guys want to fight wait till you you’re off the school compound then you can rip each other’s hair for all I care.” I snapped at them.
They both glared at me and then at each other.
“This isn’t over.” The brunette screamed flipping her hair and started to walk away.
“I’ll kill you if I see you anywhere near by boyfriend.” The blond screamed and turned away too.
After they were gone I took in a deep breath, every day I would walk down this hall and someone was always fighting about some jock, it was like walking in a nightmare. At the corner of my eye I saw someone watching me, curious I turned in that direction and found Jason, standing amongst a group of boys and Geegee, his girlfriend. Most of them were laughing at something but Jason had eyes only for me.
His green eyes roamed up and down my body making me feel as if I was naked and as always my whole body came alive and begged me to go towards Jason so he could caress me with his hands.
“no.” I shook my head; I had to get over him. But it was impossible when he stood there looking so gorgeous, with that stupid grin which was so sexy spread across his face.
“Hey baby.” He mouthed to me and laughed as I blushed.
“Stop it Kaleen stop it.” I scolded myself, the best thing I could have done was to stop raping him with my eyes and look in the opposite direction, that would temporally stop me from lusting after him, but I couldn’t look away, it was like he was a magnet that kept pulling me towards him.
‘Kaleen.” Someone called, I heard the call but I was too busy picturing myself naked under Jason to turn around and answer.
“Kaleen.” The person called this time much closer.
“huh.” I turned around finally and found one of the teachers standing in front of me. “Oh hey Thomas.” I smiled.
“Hey Kaleen.” He greeted back. “There’s something I’ve been meaning to ask you.” He said sheepishly.
“What is it?’ I asked pretending to be enthused about this conversation we were about to have, god could he leave already so I could continue staring at Jason like some stalker!
‘I want us to go out on a date.” He announced.
“what.” I choked nearly passing out.
“I know I know it’s quite a shocker, but I really like you, and besides you aren’t seeing anyone or in love with anyone, I know because I asked around and we’re perfect for each other.” He insisted.
“b-but.” I stammered, I couldn’t go out with him especially when I was half in love with Jason, if I wasn’t I might go out with him because he was handsome enough and most importantly old enough.
“Please say yes.”
I was about to bluntly refuse but something came into mind, what if the reason why I thought I liked Jason so much was because I hadn’t dated in two years, maybe if I went out and had some fun with Thomas I would forget all about the troublesome feelings I had for Jason.
