Back at the jungle, the gang were starting to do decorations for the festival. Each of them were doing a part to help. Spike stuck some palm leaves on the tables, Kara placed in some light bulbs to some lanterns and gave it to Higgabottom who flew up to place the decorations in the trees

Timber would shoot green vines at the trees to act as streamers. Twitch would take the vine and wrap it around the tree and Zinti, Koda and Bella would put pink flowers on it. His hand pulled pulled back the arrow on the string and bow, ready to release the next string.

Whoosh!

Out of nowhere, a pink blur zoomed past him, sending a rush a wind through his fur, and it hit the tree. It was an arrow. But it wasn't one of his. This one was pink, and emitted magic.

Timber's ears perked up surprised, and turned his head around to where that arrow came from while lowering the bow. Max and Leena were behind him. The two cats had caught up to the others after talking together about that vision that Leena saw.

"Hey!" Max said cheerfully, waving his hand at his friend. The lioness was holding her bow out, having already let go of her arrow

The wolf stared at her dumbfounded yet amazed, his mouth gaping. His arrow slipped from his hold, and fell onto the floor. Leena smirked at his reaction as she put her bow away.

"Oh! Pink streamers!" All three heard Zinti's voice pop up, and looked up at her. The little fox was decorating the shimmering pink rope with some flowers on it. Bella was helping too. "That will really make things look prettier for great festival!" She exclaimed excitedly, having fun with this.

The three adults chuckled at her. Azalea appeared on Timber's shoulder. "Here Max. Your staff" Timber reminded him, taking out rhe item on his belt and handing it to him. "Thanks old friend" the lion said gratefully as he took it and put it on his back. Max noticed her, and his eyes widen. "Hey. Is that Azalea? How you've been doing little one?" He asked surprised yet thrilled to see her, gently petting her head. She purred affectionately before climbing down her partner to the ground. She walked over to the arrow, and latched her mouth on it. The little bug tried to lift the arrow but it was a bit heavy on her.

Timber chuckled at her, and picked the arrow up with more ease. The small caterpillar was now hanging onto it with her mouth. "Thanks Azalea" he told her gratefully. His hand was under to catch her and she let go, landing gently in his palm. She rolled onto her back, stretching on his palm. The wolf rolled his eyes smiling. The little creature loved attention.

Timber turned to Leena with a smirk as his hand guided the little silk caterpillar onto his shoulder. He put away his bow and arrow away on his back as he walked over to them.

"Impressive Leena. Your archery is amazing" He asked her amazed, crossing his arms. The lioness put a hand on her hip. "Thanks! It's the one thing Jungle Boy can't to" She told him confident as she put her bow back on her belt. Max looked at her playfully offended by that roast she did on him. The lioness glanced at him, smirking amused.

Meanwhile, Twitch was climbing down the tree, being careful not to touch the streamers. "Hm?" He heard some laughing and looked over. He spotted the three of them below, and starting watching as he got curious.

"I see you relay on magic to aid you. So do I. But do your arrows do more than just acting as decorations?" He asked her teasingly as Leena raised an eyebrow at him, still wearing her smirk.

"Hey. My arrows do more than just making a better decoration. What can your arrows do huh forest boy?" She taunted him as Max shook his head, smiling at her. "Leena. It sounds like you want to challenge Timber" He asked her, raising an eyebrow.

The lioness turned to the lion "I'm not. But if I did challenge him, I would win for sure" she told them, her eyes shined with confidence. Max loved that about her. That confidence would always stay unwavering.

"Yeah. Well you didn't exactly win when I raced you around the palace" he reminded her, talking about that race during their adventure with the dinosaurs. Leena turned to him wide eye, and playfully annoyed.

"Hey! I went easy on you because you were a king!" Leena told him annoyed as she started smacking him. Max held his arms up for protection, chuckling at her. Timber bursted out laughing, holding his stomach. He could see his friend still knew how to get into trouble. Just like when they were kids.

Back to the chameleon, he frowned as he watched. Seeing how Max made Leena laugh like that. How she teased him playfully. How Leena challenged Timber. How Leena and Max were talking to eachother alone earlier about some vision. It made him feel something within him tightening, and it hurted. He clenched his vest as he felt those feelings.

'Of course Leena goes for the guys that are more stronger, skilled and better looking. Why can't she notice me for once? Oh come in Twitch snap out of it. Max and Timber are your friends. You know them since you were little. You shouldn't even be jealous of them? Right?' Twitch thought in his head unsure yet upset, shaking his head to snap out of it. All three were his closest friends. So why did he feel this way with them? Why did it make him upset?
