Laughing...Naruto didn't do it often anymore, but seeing Itachi wide eyed and covered in paint was too hilarious. Itachi stood up trying to going into his clam zone, so not to kill Naruto. Naruto backed up, the look in Itachi's eyes gave him a bad vibe, even without his Uzukyuugan.{A/N Uzu is vortex, Kyuu is 9, and Gan is eye. So it's the 9 eyes of the vortex.}

Itachi made his usual 'come here' sign, Naruto took a step back.

"Come here Naruto,...Now,"said Itachi, his voice terrified Naruto. He took a small step forward. Itachi wiped his hand down his paint splattered ANBU uniform. He reached out to Naruto to wiping his hands on Naruto's face and dark blue and black outfit.

"Oh, Itachi stop that... I'm sorry. Stop it," with one last wipe Itachi smirked and left Naruto alone.

"Brat, you so annoying," Itachi said turning around to go home. Naruto laughed and turned to follow him.

"You know you love me," Naruto said smiling up at Itachi. Itachi didn't answer at first, just reached down and messed up Naruto's hair even more than it already was.

"Tsk, shut up," said Itachi and Naruto laughed more. He was happy that the prank had gone right and Itachi got covered in paint. Then with a whoosh, a dog faced ANBU appeared in front of them.

"Hokage-sama wants you both, you have a mission," he turned and started to leave, "Oh, and Itachi I'd take a shower first." Then he simply disappeared, leaving nothing but a pile of leaves behind.

"Naruto, let's meet up at the Hokage in ten," Naruto nodded his face turning serious, both disappeared.

Hokage Tower, Council meeting room

"Kitsune, Raven, the Uchiha's are planning a coup, we can't let this happen, it will destroy the hidden leaf from the inside out," said old Man Hokage.

"What are your orders Hokage-sama," this was spoken by a blonde ANBU member with a Fox mask.

"I'm Sorry to you Raven, but..." The Hokage started only to be cut off.

"My clan must be destroyed to preserve the village and protect it civilians. If my clan were to come to power it would mean anybody of even the slightest weakness would be murdered in cold blood," said Raven straight faced and unemotional.

"Yes, the council has decided to send the two of you in to do the deed..," cut of again.

"But they can't do that, it's Itachi's own clan and to make him murder him. Now that's cold blooded and hearted," This time it was Kitsune who interrupted.

"Mind your manners de...ANBU or you'll be ejected," this was said by Himura {A/N no idea if that's right}.

"Tch...... how long until it's time," Kitsune said calming himself.

"The Uchiha's are moving fast, you must complete the mission by sunrise tomorrow."

"That fast... Hokage-sama is there anyone that we can spare," said Itachi looking depressed.

"Leave only those you deem innocent, no ninja except genin. Only civilians and genin, understood," said the Hokage. He got to nods and a 'Hai' from them both, but before they could leave.

"Sarutobi, you're forgetting something," said Danzo, speaking for the first time.

"I really wish it didn't have to be this way. Just now Itachi I'm truly sorry. But the council thinks the village needs a scapegoat, so," the Hokage looked like he was about to cry.
