Genin

As soon as they disappeared, Kakashi stared analyzing their positions.

Sasuke hid in the trees, to the north, his chakra was barely concealed at all, making him easy to spot. Along with the fact that the wind was blowing South, so Kakashi could easily get his scent, too.

Hinata did better, but still not good enough. She had hidden in the bushes, the scent almost completely hidden, but her chakra was going crazy, showing there nervousness.

'Looks like Naruto's having fun, I can't find him at all, he's planning something. No chakra, no scent, damn Itachi really trained his stealth to a point. I guess hiding from ANBU in that horrid orange jumpsuit helped his stealth, more than I thought it would,' Kakashi thought smirking. {A/N He only wears it during stealth training.}

Kakashi ended up waiting for a long time, till Hinata's Chakra disappeared, then eventually Sasuke's, Naruto did something.

So Kakashi waited knowing Naruto was going to pulling something and he'd find out what it was soon enough.

Minutes past, but nothing happened, 'I should probably go after them soon.'

Clunk, Kakashi jumped outta the way just in time to avoid Kunai aimed at his head. Doing a flip he landed next to the three wooden training posts. He rolled to the left just in time to avoid a chakra strike to his side. The attack instead dug heavily into the post, before she jumped away and retreated back into the forest before Kakashi could attack her.

Kakashi heard a whisper in his ear and looked around, but saw nothing, then he heard it again.

"Uzumaki style; perverts paradise," The Kakashi vision of the area around him changed. Kakashi knew it was a genjutsu, but couldn't find himself to want to dispel this jutsu.

Iruka was walking, more like strutting, towards him...naked. Kakashi fell back in the real world, his nose sprouting a gallon of blood.

Hinata cheered quietly, as she and Sasuke walked out from their hiding spots. They didn't even notice that Naruto did not follow, or the fact that he was sitting in a tree in plain view, smirking widely.

As they stepped up to grab the Kunai hanging from his belt, they heard him murmur, but they couldn't react fast enough.

"Earth style; Head Hunters jutsu," the ground below Sasuke, Hinata gave out. When there shoulders fell below ground, the hole closed only leaving their heads above it.

Kakashi stared laughing and they heard another voice laughing behind them. Naruto shushined so he was standing next to Kakashi laughing and smirking at the body less genin.

"What's going on," Sasuke yelled, clearly annoyed.

"Simply put I asked Naruto here," Kakashi said, putting a hand on Naruto's head, "to help me test whether or not you're truly ready to be genin. So are they ready Naruto, did you have enough time to grade them."

"Wait what do you mean, what about Naruto grading us," Hinata asked or more like screamed.

"Okay lesson time kiddies," Naruto said, getting glares from Hinata and Sasuke, "When I first came to the academy I said I didn't have the Uzumaki Kekkei Genkei. Well at the time I didn't, but only months later it unlocked," suddenly Naruto's eyes glowed eerily in dark purple.

"The Uzumaki Kekkei Genkei is a optical Jutsu, which allows me to see and judge the character, aura, personality, and skills of person. Kakashi asked me me to judge your abilities to find out whether or not you had the base skills needed to be a genin, " Naruto continued, then turned to Kakashi, "They are ready to be genin, and I can tell you what they both need to work on."

"Good then congrats you three, you're officially genin," Kakashi yelled, then both the boys felt themselves be lifted out of the earth and placed on solid ground. Hinata started yelling and jumping around excitedly, Sasuke remained remained indifferent, but with all the time he spent with Itachi, Naruto could plainly see he was excited, while Naruto just smiled and nodded to Kakashi.

"Go home and get some rest, tomorrow we start training," Kakashi said with his eye smile, before he disappeared in a shushin. When Hinata turned to talk to Naruto they saw that he too had disappeared.

Naruto and Kakashi talked for a little with Iruka, before they both went to bed ready to begin a new day, with new challenges ahead.

3 months later

Team 7 was in the Hokage's office, watching Tora relax in Naruto's arms, while Sasuke glared at the cat for turning his face into it's own personal scratching post.

The Hokage was about to assign them another mission when, Sasuke finally snapped, done with all the stupid missions.

"Common you Old Fart, we're too awesome for these stupid D-ranks. Give us a C-rank, you know we can handle it."

Sasuke didn't have time to duck before he was hit in the head with a pencil, courtesy of Iruka.

"We'll give you a C-rank when we damn well please and not a moment sooner. So shut up and take your stupid D-rank like a man, and not a whiny Bitch," Iruka yelled making Sasuke take a few big steps back in fear, while Kakashi and Naruto just laughed all to used to it.

"Now now Iruka, calm yourself," the Hokage stated sagely, "Naruto what do you say."

All the adults in the room, notice Naruto snap to attention, people knowing that he was an ANBU knew this was his mission mode.

"Sasuke is proficient in Tai and fire style Ninjutsu, lacking in Genjutsu. His tracking skills are slightly below for a genin. It took him exactly 100 hours to master the tree walking exercise and hasn't gotten water walking down yet.

"Hinata is proficient in Taijutsu and her clan's Ninjutsu, her tracking is above average at about Chunin, but she has absolutely no Genjutsu. It took her 72 hours to master tree climbing, she is currently trying to get the hang of the water walking exercise. I think they may be ready for a low ranking C-rank, possibly an escort mission," He said professionally. The Hokage nodded and looked at his assignment list.

"I might have something for you, a simple escort of a bridge builder, there shouldn't be much trouble with that, but Iruka I'd like you to go with as a second Jonin," said the Hokage, Iruka looked like he wanted to protest but eventually agreed.

"Good, send in the bridge builder," yelled the Hokage, when Tazuna walked in he looked at the group of 5 before him.

"Great I get an old man that plays with electrical sockets, a flaming gay teen. A goth duck, a blind priss, ha and a emo with purple eyes and childish tattoo's," as he said and Kakashi had to grab Iruka, while Naruto grabbed the back of Hinata and Sasuke's clothes. (A/N: Tazuna is talking about Naruto's whisker marks, though he does have other hidden tattoo's :)

"I'm so not flaming I'll murder you for that ya old fucking hag," Iruka yelled trying to break Kakashi's grip on his waist.

"I've never seen Iruka like this," Hinata murmured, making Naruto and Kakashi smirk.

"He behaves himself while at the academy, but now you're seeing his true colors," Naruto said smiling at Hinata and Sasuke both.

"Ma Ma you three, we can't kill the client no matter how much we all want too," Kakashi said trying to placate them, but Iruka mostly. Hinata blushed widely at the two adults, Iruka had calmed down and was now leaning back into Kakashi, who still had his arms around Iruka's waist, his head resting on Iruka's.

Noticing her look Kakashi did his eye smile and handed out orders, "Okay meet at the northern gate tomorrow at 9, pack for a week's journey. Head out."

They all walked outta the Hokage's office and when they split up, Sasuke noticed that Kakashi, Iruka and Naruto all went the same way, but shrugged it off as nothing.
